Anyone know how to make the sig look later in the day?
I heard if you don't press submit until whenever you want the time taken it works.

That's right...but it could "freeze" up on you and then you have given out samples and don't have a signature to back up what you've left. Be really careful about holding calls....also, you can't add any calls during that 'holding" time either, so it could look like you haven't worked that time. Why not just work and do the right thing.

in my previous company the time stamp was from when you brought up the signature screen, not when you submit.

I think all companies are different. I know that my company records 3 times -when a call is suspended, when a physician signs and when the call is submitted.

Also most companies run a utility that monitors the clock on the computer. If you change it once, you get a call from your IT dept. Telling you not to do it again. Do it again, and the response varies by company.
I've been around 20 years and the best thing to do is work heads up and not change anything! But it is your ass and your income, so handle it the way you want!

I totally agree. There were about 20 reps who deserved to have their lazy butts fired b/c they were caught changing the time. AND THEY WERE FIRED after the POA. It CAN be tracked when you bring in the computer or they ask for it. DO NOT DO IT!!!
