I think working for Innovex was great. I am a DM with a big pharma company now and my manager (RD) and I both came from Innovex. I refer to Innovex like being in high school. What I mean is...you have a great budget, no programs to do, and when it comes down to it, not much accountability. That's a good thing. I wish sometimes I was still there.

Thanks so much for your post. Many of us remember ( I noticed that you are no longer with Innovex ) when working for Innovex was indeed more of a pleasure than an exercise in futility. Unfortunately, the good leaders ie. Darryl are no longer in place to ensure continued projects or continued competent leadership. The few remaining contracts leave no room for upward mobility, salary increases, or, apparently, the freedom to excise basic field level managerial skills.
Big Pharma may indeed be more of a challenge, more work, etc. but the benefits far outweigh life in the C.S.O. arena. Thank your "lucky stars" that you no longer have to be in "high school" any longer.

I would hope not. My base is pretty damn low, do you get what you pay for. The only reason I'm staying is the fact that my territory is doing very well and I'm getting a nice bonus every quarter.

It sure must be nice to get a bonus. I haven't seen one yet. That is unless you count to $250 for evista we got and the $500 for filling out some survey. My rankings are too low to go anywhere.
