This will be another great year year for me at BIIB. I guess I know all the positive people at the company (in field sales) because they don't whine like little bitches and unlike the frequent flyers on this board are doing well too.
Stock units worth more, ESPP plan was a gold mine this year, and bonuses were just fine. I enjoy the products we represent and the benefits we have.
Sincere good luck to those that were recently displaced.
Happy thanksgiving to all...including the whiny bitches.

Joe2....you are indeed a piece of shit.
Bottom line, I made many thousands on the ESPP and my RSUs are worth over 100k this coming year alone.
I am here making this company successful and enjoying the fruits of my efforts and you are on the outside looking in....like a whiny little bitch.
I don't care what you want to call it....the kool aid tastes good to me. When the stock hits 60, and it will...I'll take another long sip and make a toast to the scum that you are.

Don't believe the bullshit on this board. The posters are probably from HR trying to pump the company and laid off losers.
No one at their levels could possibly have 100s of thousands of stock in restricted units, unless they are counting the unvested part. The only ones with any real stock are the VPs and above.
Koolaid would be a euphamism for what they're drinking. The company is very negative. Morale is low. People arrive late and leave early. The company has lost its spirit, and people just clock in an clock out. It's tragic in a sense.
Don't join the company for another three years. By then we'll have new management and the spyglass smoke will clear.

You are dead wrong ! If you are are a consistently high performer the RSU grants have very very generous BELOW VP. It is very possible to have a 100k worth of units.
I don't know hwere you work, but the morale where I am is just fine. Q3 results didn't happen by accident, Lehman does not raise the price target to $61 by accident. This company will succeed and hopefully you will be GONE.

I agree with the poster.i am in sales and LOVE IT. The RSU'S are very very good and worth in the 6 figs coupled with ESPP and other equity programs the compnay offers,cant beat it.I love the Koolaid and we call it GREENBACKS!!! At 60+ a share I'll be drinking my ass off!! and making ANOTHER appointment with my fianancial advisor to give him a couple of glasses too.To the negitive posters,I tip my glass for another round of uncle biogen koolaid!!!(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!)

I love coming in at 10 and leaving at 5.
I love how my boss doesn't know anything, so the expectations are low.
I love how the high performers have lefts, so I can get an exceeds or far exceeds this year.

If you go to any cafe pharma sites the only people on there are the non-performers or the pyschos like Josephine2 who do nothing but spew their one-sided negative views. Maybe more of the top Biogen folks shouls post more to offset these idiots!!

BIIB top has crap to say, All I here is sell /sell /sell, with a occasional bone tossed my way .I consider myself a top performer and I find it hard Sometimes to look in the mirror because I'm so concerned with the numbers. I don't have MS and I don't know what it feels like to live with ms and the co-greed makes it hard to wake up everyday.

Listen and learn my fellow Biogen reps. I too, was once a Biogen rep. I was one of 62 of "the best of the best" as the VP of Sales acknowledged us. We launched a drug that did not sell - that was a buy and bill. Over the course of two years we had upper management that did not know what they were doing, DM's that did not have a clue and did not care and when all was said and done...... they sold the business unit. Now that was the Amevive story. The story continues with the Zevalin reps who worked their tails off and found themselves out of a job in less than two years..... but - now they were able to take the Rituxan jobs away from the current reps and now they are out of a job - Merry Christmas to all.
The take away from this demoralizing tale is that the DM's made a ton of money and did not care what happened to the reps. The reps are all scrambling to find new jobs and Biogen continues to hum along. What a sad story. I'm happy for the reps that are making $$ in stocks and bonuss. My only word of caution is to keep your ear to the ground for future job opportunities because Biogen may not be the company you want to hang your hat on for the long haul.

Biogen Idec like most other companies are great to work for if you produce. Is it the best company no, and if people don't like it, they will leave. Hey, read what I wrote...I stated "according to the two assholes who posted above".......I didn't say "everyone" on this forum said that...I was replying to the comments made by those two individuals and how they usually respond to almost anyone who doesn't agree with their line of thinking.
Why are my posts considered "negative"? Is it because my opinions don't agree with the people who post here? I'm not the only one who has points of view that are very different than some when it comes to Biogen and Tysabri. I don't like how Biogen brought that drug into the MS market and I don't think it's nearly as good as Biogen says it is. That's my opinion and I don't expect very many here to agree with it. Disagreeing with me is one thing but if anyone thinks that they are going to get anywhere by name calling or vulgarities towards me, think again....it won't happen. You accuse me of living on the Biogen Board...well, that's exactly where you must hang out as well in order to make that comment.
BTW, my life isn't pathetic, I'll usually be around to express another point of view other than what others express here about Tysabri and Biogen...and I do thank you for wishing me a good holiday.....the turkey was very nice :-))

Joe2 is the only sane one on the board. If the Zevalin reps had any skill then they'd be millionaires like the rest of us sitting on 100s of thousands in RSUs. Zevalin is great, the reps suck. They deserve to be canned.
