Does anyone know this DM- Shridhar Krishnamoorthy? I met a few reps from Lilly at the UCLA job fair who then referred me for the interview with him. I went on the interview, he told me he was impressed and gave me a "homework assignment" to learn as much as I could on Lilly then to call him on his cell...well I called a week later (more than once) and no answer!!! Any suggestions or help with referring me to another DM preferrably in the Orange County area?? I did so much work and I'm ready to present my expertise in Lilly and its a shame he won't return my calls. My email is kristyfuller@hotmail.com Thanks a lot.

I have to be honest- if this "manager" did this you should work for another company. What you did for this person is no indication of whether or not you can sell. I work for Lilly and am humiliated by this kind of crap. Let me apologize on behalf of Jugdish and assure you that this isn't normal. Call the recruiter for that area.

Don't bother, go do research on biotechs and then work for them.

He should have returned your message. It is very unprofessional that he did not. However he is a brand new DM who works for one of the worst sales directors at Lilly (Wesley Sackrule), and has yet to develop basic interpersonal skills.
Suggest you call the Lilly office in Anaheim - 714 940-0800 and ask to speak with Joyce Wright in HR.
DMs also in the Orange County office you may want to connect with are Laith Safri (a UCLA grad), Gary Leach (a USC grad), Lynn Dines (UCLA grad), John Litzell, Amy Crowley or Kendra Coulombe. All can be reached at the 714 940-0800 number.
Shridar is out of the LA North office in Woodland Hills. If you want to get a hold of him call 818 948-2700 and ask for Christine or Natalie. These territories will not be OC, but will be LA and the valley. Other DMs to contact in the Woodland Hills office would be Shelly Milsap or Robert Porter.

Good luck.

You have no idea how lucky you are. Just pray to god that the call never comes. Consider it an enormous compliment that this fat fuck didn't see in you whatever it is he looks for in a rep. The reason he is camped out at UCLA looking for victims like you is that all of our partners from his district are dropping like flies.

Ahh shit man, Robert Porter.... better reconsider this advice and remove his name from this list of DM's to consider. This guy is a closet racist. I will give him the fact that he has tenure and has been able to stave off the political bullshit Lilly can handsomely dish. And he knows how to protect his employees. But, For the most part he is condescending, curt, and lacks any form of humor.
Nice guy on the surface, but trust me when I say he is hiding something.

Shridhar is the worst DM Lilly could have ever decided to hire. First of all, he was hired from marketing and has no sales experience. He was the reason many people in his district left. Shridhar created an awkward vibe and rated his reps on on a scale from 1-5 at the end of a field ride. He was extrmeley inappropriate and violated one's personal space and respect for people. The decision to place him in a DM role was the biggest joke and did not make any business sense, which is why Lilly did not make any sense as a company.

Small correction, Shridar DID have sales experience! He was sent to Texas for a 6 month relief sales experience, usually given to "corporate hires" ( what were they thinking). He was so awful and did more damage to a previously successful territory that in 3 months his manager asked that he be sent back early to Indy. The territory still has MD's who remember how bad ( read no interpersonal skills) this guy was.

Stop with the madness now y'all; can't you see that this midwest based (ostensibly, white) company needs to fill quota's so that no one can say it's run by da man and for da man? Get with the program - this crap has been going on for years. Who care if Jugdish can't sell a moon powered space heater to an eskimo, the important thing is that the box is checked.
