I hear it went up 25%. Is this true!! If it is true it will be taken off all medicaid. 11 months and ticking.

I heard the same thing. Why do they not tell us? I heard the increase went into effect on Dec 29. We are in trouble. Aldara will move to Teir 3 on all plans or prior auth or off the plan just like atopiclair and benziq. After 1 year I think we are in trouble. Why would they have a 25% increase? It was already expensive. Our list stink. We only get paid on the 160 drs. All other scripts from the level X we do not get paid on. The product been flat for 3 years and now we get paid in vol increase. What increase!!! 2 years we all could go back to 3M.

I'm calling my mgr tonight to find out. I hope the previous poster is wrong about the increase. If they are right retail will be approx. $300/month. That is crazy. All they care about is their bottom line. Anybody who makes decent base salary is in trouble because the CVP reps make 1/2 our salary.

Do you think 3M will take us back in 2 years? 23 more months.

They not only raised the price of Aldara, but all of our other products as well, a full 25%. You know, we just had a 9% increase from 3M not long ago. Doesn't sound like the christian thing to do to me. Especially not telling us. But I can see why the didn't. How much more demoralizing would this information be on top of everything else. With all the problems they are having, it is going to take a year to get things straightened, if they ever do.
Check to see how far they are behind on getting the territories physician lists straightened out. Half my territory is either duplicated, retired or dead physicians showing as my targets, and I can only change so many at a time. But even then you have to get everyone to sign off on it. They don't trust us one bit to run our own territory's. They have to micromanage every facet of our day to day duties. As bad as 3M was, they are looking like geniuses compared to these guys.

Why would they have another price increase? Why would they not tell us? Why do we have to get signatures if we do not leave samples? Why are our list so bad? 11 months to go. We are in trouble. No pipeline!! Look at Phizer

this is all untrue! DO NOT BELIEVE THIS! This has been masterminded by ignorant and employees (past and present) that have no life! Its so sad, that they have nothing better to do than sit and predict upcoming issues about Medicaid and our Company. I wonder if its jealousy since they were scared to leave the good ole boys club! Its pathetic how certain men act like toddlerrs! Get a life and stop stealing company time from 3M by checking this site out! You never worked this hard for 3M pharma- so why now?

Hey buddy. Ask you DSM what the AWP is. Or better yet make a pharmacy call and ask. I not mad. I am concerned thats all.

O.K. - enough, let's just wait for the truth. I for one cannot believe they have raised prices for all products.
That would destroy morale, severly damage the new companies image, cause a wave of bad press throughout the Derm community.
We will know what is sabotage and what is the truth.

Ask Rich R. Ask your DSM. The raise went into effect on Dec 29. 25% inc. Now they have to rebate all the state medicaids the difference between the new AWp and the best price. Guess what that means. Bigger rebates to the states. off mediacaid we go. 11 months and counting

you have no life! how sad is it. I think you should call the RM for your area and see if you can get hired because your obsessed- ALL of you with the AWP of Aldara. You should ask yourself why you did not take the opportunity given your preoccupation with Aldara. Move on! and if you think Rich R is going to work here when he has not worked in 30 yrs- you are dreaming!
He does not care about the AWP nor do we- we are just grateful to have a career!

Very funny about Rich R. You think you have a career with Graceway. Old Products-Yes, No coverage-Yes, No pipeline- Yes, Huge discrpeancy in salaries between 3M and CVP- Yes. 2 ot of 3 RSM are from Astellas- Yes, 11 months to go- Yes

I've seen some REALLY STUPID posts but you my friend are now #1. If they did raise the price on Aldara by 1/4 that is something to be concerned about. Are one of those cowards that just floats along and keeps the head low just to collect a check. Career....if you are grateful for a career you are a sad individual indeed! I would love to know who you are.....unbelieveable...not just you but this company if they have done this....greed is putting it mildly!

I sure hope that you work this hard at your company the way you are so passionate on cafe pharma. I hope that you are typing in your piece of shit notes at 3m with such fever. You sound like a moron and obviously you were not chose my Graceway/Chester Valley. Your good ole boys club is now dismantled so your RM is bye bye and in a new position. Pull up your diapers and get on the tricycle to Graceway after you wean off the breast of Momma!~suck my ass with the awp of aldara

I did hear that the price was raised. I believe that 3m hadn't increased the price in a few years. Would a price increase make since because the cost of raw materials continue to increase? Anyone have an idea??

OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB THAT WAS DISMANTLED AND YOU EITHER HELD ON OR FLEW THE COOP. WHO FUCKING CARES ABOUT THE AWP OF ALDARA- YOU SHOULD CERTAINTLY NOT UNLESS YOU ARE USING ALDARA FOR ITS MYRIAD OF INDICATIONS- SO MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO GET A LITTLE TCA TO REMOVE THE EGW IN YOUR MOUTH OR ASK A DOCTOR THAT YOU WERE TIGHT WITH TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE CYRO ON THE CRACK OF YOUR ASS FOR YOUR EGW'S.. DO IT PRONTO AND WE HAVE SOLUTION AND YOU CAN THEN GET OFF OF THIS WEBSITE!

What a STUPID reply.....open your eyes..."THE GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB IS GRACEWAY". The deck is stacked with "GOOD OLE BOYS" from their previous failed companies. Go get some caffeine to wake up ....oh and have an anger management donut with that caffeine ! This price increase is WRONG and sends the wrong message. This will really piss off the doctors, managed care plans and medicaid ! Get mad at THEM not those of us that see this as it is.

Thank you post 22. You understand the ramifications of a 25% increase on the first day they own Aldara. Since 1997 when Aldara was launched we had annual increases between 3-5%. Not 25% in the first day of ownership. They drove up the price to offset the declining unit sales, pad their botton ROI and I hope they pay us decent bonus checks for all the extra cash they are making. Problem is the Best Price to all state Medicaid is now bigger rebates. I hope they do not take aldara off medicaid. Teir 3 at best or prior auth for the rest of the managed care plans or off completely. Remember atopiclar and benziq have no coverage.

keep your undergarments on and take the jock strap thats too tight off for a breather for the boys and listen.. I am here only till I find a better job like most of my friends here with me. We play the game daily and get the
job done thats all. Regarding the AWP- who fucking cares????? if I was here for one year then maybe i would care- I am waiting to find a REAL JOB like most ex- 3M'ers that had no choice. Most of us had no choice but to go with ASSWAY! about the increase, not my problem until prior auth's happen! then I am gone! we all feel this way- about 75 percent of us are on interviews at this point!

Do not work for 3M, CVP or a competitor, but can tell you this much...

According to what I researched, AWP was $216 in Nov, and is now $268 today. That's almost 25% increase exactly (do not know what date it changed exactly.)

For the poster wondering about an API (raw materials) price increase as reason for price increase. I doubt it...if anything, probably getting less expensive, as more and more manufacturers are filing DMFs. 2 more have filed within the last 6 months. There are now 5 or 6 manufacturers that have US approved DMFs for this product.

Per Orange Book, in Oct 2006, someone filed a Paragraph IV certification for Imiquimod - this means that there is a generic out there that is saying that they have a method of manufacturing that does not infringe on your patents, so they will look to invalidate patents/launch early. That means you have about 30 months at the most until a generic hits the market, possibly sooner.

Omen. I told you so. I wasn't making it up. The price went up on Dec 29. The exact same day the Graceway check cleared. All they care about is their ROI. Hopefully they pay us nice bonus checks. A generic will be out in less that 30 months. That is also correct. Maybe Qvar will save the day. LOL
11 months to go.

Nice work on the due dilligence Mike N from Chester. You once again showed your attention to detail.

Don't be scared Mike, call one of your consultant's, they'll explain what a DMF is and a Paragraph IV cert.

Mike next time your in Bristol explain everything to Jefferson G. He'll understand that you were confused.

Sleep tight!

Thanks again for the post - we owe you a debt of thanks! You were right !
And to those curseing us for posting real world ...it was not that we were being negative but the fact that we have enough experience and insight to see trouble coming. The fact that the two previous companies failed is reason to examine the corporate structure, pipeline, etc.. and see this coming...soooo no surprize !

After i made a pharmacy call and found out about the $300 price i called my mgr. He said he had no idea. He is pissed why the did not tell us in dallas. Why hide that info. It is important. Price was always an issue with the derms. i am afraid managed care plans will take Aldara off formularies. We will have no increase therefore no bonus. I called my freind in another division of 3M and there are 36 jobs on JIS for sales. Now they open up. Does anybody think they would allow us to apply for these positions?

No question ....it never hurts to try or at least ask.....this is VERY bad that the managers were not appraised of this. What about the regionals that are their old buddies........did they know and if so, they should have shared with the managers so they were not surprized by our calls ? I am pissed !
