I am so tired of hearing this BS about "the end is near"...we've been hearing that for over a year now. When will you wake up and realize that Taro is like a big fat roach....it will NEVER die!!!! NOT TRUE!! I have worked a LOT for this company and gotten what?? I am thankful that I wasn't let go before, but I also understand that there is no way of knowing when or if my time will come. This company doesn't deserve loyalty from any of us. They will get rid of any one of us when they decide to because the Levitts have never appreciated our loyalty or hard work. They don't let people go because they don't contribute to the company. They decide based on salaries and the bottom line. Look around and you will find people out there that are bringing very little in and yet they're still here. So, when I say I'm "sitting back", give me ONE good reason why I shouldn’t??

I'm not still "here" . I was part of the '06 layoff - no insurance, no benefits and no severence after many years of service. I find it offensive to read how you are just hanging around. I could tell you why I find your attitude so disgusting but it ... I AM better then you - much better.

I have to respond to all of this. I was part of the 06 layoff as well and I had worked hard for this company for over 3 years. Because of that I was rewarded with......NOTHING! There were others that were left on that were contributing much less than I was (you can look at the total number of RXS for them vs me). I was always on time with my monthly reports, in compliance and a team leader. Yet when it came time to "let people go", I was one of them. I can't blame those that are left behind for simply surviving at this point! Why are you being so self righteous? If it were the other way around, are you so sure that you would be motivated to work for the Levitts after seeing how they "rewarded" people like you and me? At this point I'm grateful that I left Taro and am not one of the ones simply surviving and wondering when I may lose my job. I have a great job now, making more than I ever did at Taro and actually being rewarded for my hard work. I honestly hope that things work out for those left behind. I know that most of them are excellent people who simply are not being rewarded for all they have done.

Paranoia!? The Levitts breed paranoia as does this person who threatens to check out the URL of someone who is asking a simple question. I'm certain that Barrie would be shocked to know that many who post here are indeed currrent employees who he passes in the hall, and attends many of the stupid
