Why are you depressed working at GSK.....You have no idea how good you have it....Compared to other big pharma no one has the bonus plan, goal adjustments, and a 401k PLUS a pension like GSK has.... Go sell copiers and get thrown out of offices all day for 40k a year......
I cant believe all the whiny babies on here...

You nailed it. If you can "mildly" think on your own, have conviction and passion for leading an energized/motivated team to peak performance, GSK is not the place for you as a DSM.

doesn't surprise me that he along with the thousands of others who left Merck. Another lawsuit going on this month in NJ.... Govt. talking about putting V back out on a restricted RX. Would be good for Merck from the aspect of lawsuits. Oh yeah.. heard bob o. was the master of micro management. Anyone up for putting check marks in columns?

Bar none, Scott was the best manager ever! Motivating, smart, creative, a real rep. advocate, and a realist. I think, unfortunately, he was another SF casualty. We miss him lots

All the guys thought she was really hot, come to think of it, so did she, seems like she got away w/alot due to looks, but that wears off. No need to call him, I am sure he screens all his calls, and his pulse races every time the doorbell rings and a knock on the door echos throughout his house. Time will ultimately prove the moral fiber underneath the facade. C'mon have you ever seen he and Jerry "who ha" it up in the lobby bar at meetings? What a sad existence really. The act has become old and stale! Poor guy! I pity him!

UMMM... Yes, the best and brightest got out when things started becoming a criminal joke, if you call killing children and the elderly for a buck, a joke...the lifelong LOSERS still cling to the dingleberry of the asshole of Big Pharma...GSK, especially the DM's for LIFE.
- It is indeed sad AND it seems the proverbial shit is about to hit the fan. Aforementioned DM should fear every knock on the door, phone call, or a possible letter from some government entity, as yet unexposed. The poster is correct, when lips are sealed, things seem almost normal....it is only when they become unsealed and the whole truth is known that living a lie for years catches up with many who still cling to the dingleberry....and the proverbial dingleberry falls into the toilet where they both belong and have belonged for many years...tough shit, huh. I can hear the flushing sound already, can you ?
Some are in the know, and pretend and pretend and pretend....like you. 200K plus all the benefits a year then "retirement", seems like a good thing- until the house of cards comes crumbling down. The truth shall set us free, and your ass will end up where it belongs. In the meantime, keep living the dream in the burbs...riding with your Ken and Barbies once a month. Pitiful existence wouldn't you say? Do you have any friends yet ? Real friends ?
Waiting for the Sun.

Oh my...he obviously was a sub-performing rep who was fired.
Anonymous
01-31-2011, 08:27 AM
Yes, Mr. Obvious, most "subperforming" reps that did not take part in the marketing schemes-(that are ongoing) could be called subperforming. You had to kill kids, diabetics and cause infant death and deformity, ETC., to "perform". Just ask Lauren Stevens first, then ask every rep. or manager that still takes a salary from the grim reaper, GSK. And Connelly the Zyprexa tramp from Lilly, says "What went wrong?" This of course ocurred with the ride alongs and encouragement from management at all levels, especially District Managers who saw it all. Maybe the right people will now be thrown under the bus soon, if the recent news is correct, but it would be by the Feds, not GSK. Could it be you, Mr. Obvious ? Do you read the paper, or watch the news ? Obviously not.

We could tell you stories you wouldn't believe about Ms. Nagle. There are only 6 of us left in her district..what does that tell you. The people eligible for VRIF couldn't sign up fast enough. HR has met with SN three or four times, but she must have some serious dirt on someone because she keeps on going. Hi, Bob. Please don't have this removed. We didn't put it on here for you, we did if for ourselves. We feel sorry for you and the kids. Please ask her to stop working with us so frequently.. We can't take it much longer.

There was a manager a few years back in Wichita, KS that was successful in implementing the "Micro" Territory Pilot that worked out great. I heard from his reps that he was a great manager. Really cared about his people. Anyone know who I'm talking about? Is he still with GSK?

Cash should have never been in a people mgmt position. Reps liked him because they did not have to work hard.
He made the GREEK work smarter! Oh yea 2:30PM time to p/u kid.
