Takeda sucks and their flagship drug, Actos is going to get pulled just like Avandia

Daiichi Sankyo is a "has been" - two old drugs, no pipeline, delayed pipeline, bad USA mgmt.

Eisai is an up an comer - stellar pipeline, p/e growth potential

Quite the contrary, DS is doing well - Major launch of Azor in Sept.
Welchol/diabetes indication in Jan and the launch of the Plavix competitor, Prasugrel in mid '08.

I have to agree with Takeda ethics. As a former employee, I saw first hand how they disciriminate and decide between health condiditons to be concerned about. As a pharmaceutical company that is out to "improve the quality of patient's lives" it is interesting how completly uninterested they are in their employee's lives. They reward micromanagement as long as you are close to the Regional Manager who delves into the same leadership "style" and it is terrible. But, I dont think that it is a japanese habit. Rather, I believe that it is a japanese company that has been overrun by Americans.

So why is Actos going to get pulled?
