my mistake (no need for the snotty crystal ball comment) sorry for the bad info. The vote comes 7/23 - Looks like Templeton isn't the only roadblock.
Brandes has been buying up stock and has announced that they will also attempt to block the sale to Sun.

Stop calling this a merger. It's a BUYOUT. SUN has come to the rescue of a BANKRUPT, failure of a company.

Barrie Levitt, the man whose management reduced Taro to its sorry situation, warns that if the shareholders buck at the takeover by Sun, Taro may go belly-up.

The summons explains the background to the merger with Sun, and suggests that if the proposal falls through, the company might founder.

The Levitts, who own 13% of the company's regular shares, and Sun, which already owns 18.6% (or, 31.4% at full dilution), may not vote.

I am posting this as counsel to former SUPPOSED TO BE OWNER " Dilip ", known affectionately as "assface. " Mr. " DEELEP " suffered a tragic accident while on vacation in the USA and remains in a coma for not taking over Taro. His living asks for me to post the details of the accident.

Mr. DEELEEP participated in a parasailing amusment, however, it did not go as planned. At the point of liftoff, he inhaled to suck in his gut for the ladies on the boat. Unfortunaltely, as he ascended, his bathing trunks fell off, leaving him the butt of jokes and scorn until he was far from view. That is when things went from bad to tragic. Wind gusts over 40 m.p.h blew "Dilip" from over the sea to just over the nude beach, at which point he began a furious descent. At the same time an enormously well hung gay sunbather @ USA, Canada or Israel may be, thought of his lover whilst he sunned his front. Spiraling out of control, Dilip @ SUN attempted to save his legs from certain fracture by lifting them. He headed straight towards the sunbather@ USA who, at that point had an 11" erection at full mast. " DEELEP" could not avoid it (so he claims) and was impaled on said cock, with only the minimal sunscreen serving as lube. Passers-by have provided sworn affidavits that the aforementioned 11 incher was seen protruding up through " DEELAP’s " trachea. G., I mean " DEELIP" passed out and has remained in a coma in a MUMBAI hospital to this day.
