Acute here and out the door soon. Makes me sick that KCI goes up to $65 a share and posts a 25% increase when they stick it to me in as many ways as you can stick it to someone. We see now that it is about the shareholders not the employees that get them to the 25% increase. FU KCI. Yes I went home after I found out the earnings and that is where I will stay.

AE HomeCare here. It's largely distrust in mangement that is making me look elsewhere. I've been here a long time and have worked in both Home and Acute Care. The whole company has changed in the last couple of years and I'm sick of the way we are so micromanaged. But the bottom line is that I don't trust anyone in management anymore. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. I'm also sick of the service people. It's really bad. And the service managers just go along like nothing is wrong. It's crazy.

I see sales blaming service, and service blaming sales alot. As long as this keeps up KCI wins. Its a very simple and old tactic used to keep control. I've seen it used many places even in the military. As long as the employees fight among themselves, corp. is left alone to do what they want. Its the old divid and conquer. If service backs sales and sales backs service they have everyone demanding things be done right.

1) You will be on the phone with Jerry and while you're talking to him, you SHOULD (key word there!) be able to tell (from the way he's talking) if he's typing & posting on the internet at the same time. Either you can hear the keys on the keyboard or he'll seem really distracted and uninterested if he's typing away. At least anyone with an IQ over 60 should be able to handle this...does that rule you out? :) I thought this was pretty obvious, but I guess not.

2) or...you take me up on the other half of my suggestion (which I guess you missed the first time around) and MEET WITH HIM IN PERSON. AEA here. Main reason is Pay. My orders are up 110% length of stay is down to 5.75 days. The only ones making money are my Home and Extended care partners.
