NEW YORK (AP) - Drug developer Indevus Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Monday the Food and Drug Administration approved the extended-release version of the overactive bladder treatment Sanctura.

Sanctura XR is the once-daily formulation of Sanctura and works to relax smooth muscle tissue in the bladder to decrease contractions. The condition is estimated to affect 33 million Americans, the company said.

Shares of Indevus rose 31 cents, or 4.4 percent, to $7.40 in premarket trading.

so what...approval and our stock drops?

Our company is taking a check from someone and then they don't care..they are selling the baby and then they don't care about the success because we have our dough.

Our long term success is not on Sanctura eventhough we enjoy selling it....if sanctura xr was with the "right" company and marketed properly and some money spent on it then it might be a player but its not....

the competitors are not worried about us because with no managed care we are screwed....look at vesicare....delayed at the FDA, arrives last after enablex and sanctura, some questionable reps and yet now they are kicking our rears....Why...marketing, DTC and managed care...Docs don't want the call backs....Money is tight so we lose at the pharmacy eventhough we have a dynamite product...very frustrating as a rep but we don't deal with the big picture like corporate and they don't care about sanctura...they have to move forward with products we own.
