I.M.S.---and LILLY-- many years ago--and she may be the looniest manager in all my time in pharma---and thats being nice--,nice way too start with a company--not one person thinks highly of her[and , again i am being way too kind]-which of course means -management loves her

I have had Ray as a manager in the past. Give her time. I remember having the same reaction you guys are having to her for the first couple of months. She is a good SALES manager who is really high energy. Takes getting use to but her enthusiasm is contagious. She will also fight management for her reps. In fact, probably fights for her reps almost to a fault. She will rub some in upper management the wrong way which is good if you are a rep of hers. Give her 6 months. She is not for everybody though.

you wonder if management cares that good people are or will be leaving-to be replaced by less expierenced[also cheaper] reps--dont they ever learn that in the long run it never pays off--all they want is -yes men--very short -sighted-it looks good for them now--but as we all know - long term its a mess

New nightmares replacing old nightmares. So what? And seriously, give any new manager at least 3 months before passing judgement. If at that point it still sucks, then you ar eprobably right.

I'm wondering what your definition of "good people" is. Just because you like someone on a personal level desn't mean they were good at their jobs.

she fits the mold. par doesnt want mgrs to be friendly with reps its bad for business. makes it harder to fire them later. it comes from the top down. when was the last time NG left us a message????? im still checking 3X a day

That's what is the scariest of anything here. There is absolutely NO direction for the sales organization right now. No indication of how we are doing. No indication if there is a future. Then when someone like RR comes in and shakes things up, everyone just assumes the worst: heads will roll. What a difference a year (or 2) make. Still, anyone see greener grass anywhere? It's still better than "Can I supersize that for you?" At least for now.

Ray is from the now defunct NPS Pharmaceuticals, the same place Sam is from. She has a lot of industry experience but I don't know what she is like to work for.

Is RR referring to R Romenger (sp) from Lilly in the Philly, Pa area? If so boy do I have some scoop for you all. I would think it has to be based on the description of the many emails above regarding HR, cursing, wacky, and something just not being right with her. Let me know.

if she is that bad, and from the stories I hear, she is, then you must do as the poster above said--work together, be precise, be constructive, and again work as a team and.............. BRING HER TO H.R. youd be surprised how afraid companies are afraid of this type of lawsuit.

Yea we will all make money. You just wont get it for 6 months like the new 60. I know of 5 people that have quit. That chick that came from IMS is so shitty at her job. Why are the sales reps doing analytics job and slicing and dicing territories. No wonder the freaking numbers suck so bad for the WHOLE company. Nobody and I mean NOBODY really knows what is going on. We have to save the world by 5 oclock or your fired everyday. We are supposed to be chasing scripts, not cleaning up after our third party speaker companyor compliance or whatever the flavor of the day is. In addition, everyday we have some REACTIVE exercise that pulls us out of the field. My contract was from 8 to 5. Dont mind the extra hours occasionally but this has gone on long enough. I have another job ( and know of at least 3 others) that starts in 2 weeks. I wont tell them until they figure it out. I hope everyone screws this company worse than most are doing already. 2 years ago when I came it was decent but since we got so many people that think they work for a GIANT company it has gone to shit! I am so glad I got a new job, was hoping my bonus would be here so I could part ways nicely but they put it off AGAIN. I wont make a call these next 2 weeks until my money is here then I will SHIT in the trunk of thecar and quit.

That was the greatest post ever! CLASSIC!!! EAT BEANS AND GREASE BEFORE YOU DO! But your feelings are resounded all over with everyone at the company. Management included. I just happen to be a manager. These guys dont have a clue as to what they are doing. They treat people like shit and encourage us to have high turnover. Any decent CEO will tell you that the people at a company are the greatest assest. When I met my regional - BH, it was all about how they could fire me IF THEY HIRED ME. Anyone else have an interview like that? Thought so. This company is doomed, we all know it. Bad thing is it could have been OK. They just had NO sales people in the management side. All analytics (BH) and speaker burea guys. By the way... anyone else notice how poorly those are going with an outside company supposedly doing the work? NICE PAINTER!

wow the last two posts were dead on!! i agree this company could have been really good but upper mgmt is awful!! they do not let the dm's manage thier reps nor the reps manage thier territories. it is always something. oh no megace es is down everyone is mandated to do 3 nursing home calls a day, oh wait speakers are not trained stop what you are doing and get them to finish the training and contract, oh wait crappy oravig is down now you have to do an oravig blitz of your top A and B docs. i mean it is always freakin something. just let us do our job RP. enough with all this micro mgmt crap, you are going to lose good people! stop thinking everyone is out to cheat the system
