Austin is great. I have been here for about 5 years and would stay forever. Has a great mix of downtown life and outdoor activity. Young progressive town for the most part, but has some conservative areas if you like that. Great quality of life and lots to do esp. if you live healthy lifestyle. Let me know any specifics.. glad to help.

If you are female, you are in for a treat - super-hot rep there! Hell, even if you're male you're in for a treat - don't know anyone who doesn't think this guy is hot!

Hi my name is Brooke Nicole and I will be graduating college in May. I'm looking to get in to pharmaceutical sales in Texas or Tennessee. I have an amazing resume with tons of sales experience and I believe I would be a great rep. If anyone has any contacts or would like to network with me and possibly give me a few pointers please shoot me an e-mail; it would be greatly appreciated! bnwoffor@olemiss.edu

Austin is wonderful by the way!

Keep Austin Wierd----that's their slogan and they are wierd. Very expensive to live. Access sucks. all the big clinics give you one appt. per quarter. you have to share all the time.

Is there still the primary care clinic in Austin that requires reps to pay $500 per year (in cash, no reciepts) to get on the annual once-a-month lunch schedule?

Austin may be a nice town (I live about 50 miles away) but it's got some of the most arrogant doctors around ... there's an old Aggie/UT joke ...

Three guys in a bar. First one tells the second, "Friend, I graduated from The University of Texas. I'm an engineer, a leader in my profession, and make $500,000 a year. I have a lovely wife and two beautiful children. And when those children grow up, I'm sending them to The University of Texas so that they can grow up with their own kind."

Second guy says, "Yes, I too graduated from The University of Texas. I'm an orthopedic surgeon, well renown for my skill, and make a million dollars a year. I, too, have a lovely wife and four exceptional children. And like you, when my children grow up, I will send them to The University of Texas so they can grow up with their own kind."

Third guy overhears the first two, "Fellas, I graduated from Texas A&M. I drill oil wells, people all over the world call me. I make two million a year, got 12 kids and never been married. And when those kids grow up, I'm sending them to The University of Texas so they can be with their own kind, too.!"
