This "keeping your focus on the business" is bullshit - I'd like to see the managers "keeping their focus on the business" for 3 weeks not knowing if they have a job or not. I'm no dumb-ass fool that's going to go hit the pavement while they already know if I'm gone or not. Anyone who does shouold be ashamed of themselves and get some pride.

Really. The last three weeks have been primarily sample drops and office visits saying goodbye. So many docs are pissed that us Reps are just pawns in Big Pharma. If I am retained, I will be the dog crawling back into the office, tail between my legs. How empowering!

These managers acting like it's business as usual have lost their fing minds! No, it's not business as usual. their managers are full of it too and shit just goes downhill. they need to realize that it's hard to stay focused we are all stressed out so much and they need to take it easy on us. My idiot manager still expects me to close on every product on every call even when I don't know if I will be employed in a few weeks. It is so ridiculous. What are they thinking?

Let me guess.....you're one of the "safe" managers. Why don't you get some pride, and in the meantime may terrible things happen to you and your family so that maybe one day you will walk in someone else's shoes.
