I interviewed to be one of the 1sts in NY with this company. I was one reference check away... I thought I had it in the bag when my reference unexepectely turned on me. All this time I thought mY referenced screwed me- by giving a weak reference to Dave. It turns out she had my back. I always knew she did it for reasons I could not see. She not only saved me from being fired like you all, she gave me the ultimate reference for an ultimate job in return. I never appreciated the ultimate job until now though. I guess I can stop thinking "what if!" Thanks CK. You are still the best manager I have ever had. Can't blame any of you for taking a risk with this start up...they had me really excited too. Don't give up now. They picked each of you for a reason. You are all probably good eggs, who rank up there with the best. Wish you all the best! By the way how ugly did they it with you.
