Finally someone with a brain. We are fucked. Stay the course right into the toilet. GSK just dumped 25% of their sales force-why? To male room for us Reliant reps, of course.

Amen brothers!!! Think about the timing. Why would GSK make this move if they just laid off 1,000 reps? They need us. It's the only way to look at this. Keep your cool and keep your confidence. Soon enough we'll be ruling the roost at GSK.

Are you fucking high??? The Monday after this gets announced GSK has people at LC taking inventory and deciding who stays and goes. It was a big job interview today. On the call you could hear it Paul's voice and Vince trying to flex some muscle.

Anyone want to guess which one of the two stays?????

If you think they fired those reps to make room for us just look on the GSK threads.. They still are overstaffed and expecting another round of layoffs this summer and thats all before we get added into the mix! Wake up to reality. A very small number of us will be surviving. If there is an open spot in the territory your in luck otherwise enjoy your sars and severance and happy hunting!

Again, at least we now know we'll get the GSK severence package...look at the Sepracor reps, they just got the ax with 1 month of severence. We'll get 5 months and it won't start until Jan. It is too bad, but I guess that is the way it goes.

That kind of negative thinking doesn't work. I am staying positive and belief 100% that I, actually most of us, will survive and thrive in this situation of "acquisition." That should be our mantra: Thrive, Survive, and Stay Alive!

do you honestly think that they would do anything to make it easier for us?? the only reason they are waiting until january is that their 08 severance packages are lessening and the company shuts down between xmas and new years

next year's packages are the same as this year's besides, they don't own us yet and it would be stupid to let everyone go now if the deal dies, Reliant is left with no reps...think about it.
