I dont know why it takes so much training and education to do this. I only talk product in front of my DM who thinks I do a terrific job. ALL other days are a few quick drop offs.

Don't fool yourself--the smart managers are only doing the ride-alongs in between looking for something else themselves. Anyone with half a brain knows that their days are numbered. We've lost 2 managers just in this general area in the last 4 weeks. They moved on to other companies. The only managers that will be left are the losers like the one that scheduled the ride-along the day after new years.

If this were really true, no one would become a rep. Respect is something you earn. Reps are as individual as any other human beings. What is it about your life, that makes you such a judgemental miserable person that you have to come here and paint everyone with the same brush.

I appreciate your sympathy. It was certainly a miserable way to start the year. You should have seen the looks the doctors and other reps were giving us. Sorta like, "you gotta be kidding." There you have it 2-3 hours, several signatures, "OFFICE LUNCH" DONE.

One day, one of his accounts called our manager and complained that she didn't see him much and he didn't seem all that interested in followup in a timely manner. There were other complaints. While he was doing his part time job and shit you not, working on his Masters degree taking classes, our manager gave me his big $$ accounts because he knew I'd give them the txt they deserved. My friend was pissed as hell. He could see the writing on the wall and quit.
