now that is something to laugh about. i was the winner for the MOST doctors registered and listening at "lunches" and guess what? I dial in and enter my registration info and hang up within a minute. I have taken home most of those lunches. What a bunch of shit and wasted money. We all are the masters in the industry of working this stuff. Last year i had new floors put in and brought the workers huge lunches every day. i got a nice discount

Hanging up within a minute is a big mistake. Dial in on your cell put the phone in your pocket and hang up after 30 minutes. Hanging up after one minute shows that you are only gaming the system. Be smart people.

Do you other reps out there really think anyone actually believes these doctors sit and listen to a talking head on a telephone? That is just so hard to believe. I have never even asked a doctor to listen, I just register the office and phone in at the time. (Of course no volume) and take off.

And to think I thought I was one of the few that never ,ever did any of these for real. GSK is a certain type. We all are alike. WE are given these absolutely ridiculous, stupid tasks, and we FAKE all of them. No one does any of these lame, initiatives but we all smile and act like they are such good ideas. Think of what all that money could really do. All the people it could help. No, we are forced to say some doctor stared at a dam telephone and listened to some broken-english speaking rambling idiot while cramming his face with free food and just loved it. In fact it moved him. He as a new person at the end of the 1 1/2 hour phone call. He switched all his patients that day. Get a life marketing and come up with ONE good idea this year. NO ONE does these stupid things. It is just thousands of free meals for our families. I wont complain.

So the Home Office is also padding the wallet of the lucky rep that has the speaker in his/her territory. Unless he is a talking head that DOESN'T see patients...does THAT happen??

These FLTs are also endorsed by marketing. The same people who were out here "checking the box" are now in-house and putting these things on us? They are simply justifying their own existence.

ok let me help you out. You order DOUBLE... what you need. Feed the family and the office cows. This has helped me for over 7 years. I have fed my family dinner for all these years. Quite often I dont even take it to an office...it goes straight home with me at 1. Depends on the restaurant. You will take your life in your hands if you try to remove food from their lunch room. I am talking about the food that never makes it there savvy.
