GlaxoSmithKline will pay up to $425 million for Amira
Pharmaceuticals' FLAP (5-lipoxygenase activating protein) inhibitor programme. GSK will have an exclusive, worldwide licence to develop, manufacture and commercialise Amira's FLAP inhibitors, including the early-stage clinical compound AM103 for the treatment of asthma.
