Does anyone know once you start when do you receive your first check?

Checks are paid on the 15th and last day of the month. Basically they take your salary and divide by 24. It is just about the same each check. I would also suggest that you direct deposit.

when would car allowance be paid? Is it a separate check from your salary check?

It's paid twice a month along with your salary; each is itemized on your pay stub.

Taxes are also taken out of your car allowance. You get half each pay check.

Yeah....so keep a milage log, and write it off on your taxes.....
