If you have prior diagnostic experience it would be a big plus...like a rad tech or nuc med tech or worked in a cath lab.

Base in the range of 54,000 to 65,000 depending on your level of experience. Bonus about 20-25,000. Most reps are experienced Rad techs, nuc techs or MRI techs. You would be calling on Radiologists, Cardiologists, Interventionalists and to speak to them on the level to be successful would nesessitate the background experience in imaging. A thorough understanding of diagnostic procedures, equipment, and technical knowledge is needed. You also need to know how to conduct yourself in a cath lab and sometimes scrub in during the procedures. This is not considered pharma but rather closer to device type sales.
