It sounds to me like only the newly formed Mead Johnson board of directors will be located in Chicago. I would think that trying to get a new board of top level executives together quickly and require that they move to Evansville would be next to impossible.

Catherine as Sales VP is hardly a top exec. Urbain is borderline. Chicago will be for CEO, CFO, etc.

The newly formed MJN Board of Directors will not be in Chicago. Boards are comprised of people who work for other companies. They'll be located wherever across the US. BMS will have 80% of the seats. They'll probably pick a person or two local to Chicago to show some good faith to the new Exec HQ city.

Interesting that non-executive offices also would be moved to Chicago. Would think that relocation costs would be a huge hit against current fiscal environment. However, moving out of Eville to a larger city would be more attractive for external candidates. Makes sense that lower level R&D and operations would stay in Eville.

Something like BMS used to do with some our top talent in the past (Tulholski, Davidson, McCabe, Alsman, Wallace as examples). Someone who had worked for Ross in the past and is working for Abbott now would command a very high salary, incentives, perks, and benefits to move but it might be worth it.
