I have b2b sales, consult and fund-raise for a non-profit right now and am interested in moving closer to my boyfriend. Are there any openings that you know of in Austin or Houston? I would prefer a smaller company over one of the bigger ones....

any help would really be nice!

How about you put your big girl panties on and get that asshole boyfriend of yours to move where you get a job? Until he marries you, lost one, you better get yourself a job and an income and go where ever the hell you need to, to get that accomplished. If the boy friend is worth anything, he'll come running or make a proposal. Some things are never out dated. Giving away the milk for free, never will get the cow bought. Sorry, thats the way it is, as long as you are the one making the baby and the one with a time clock. Its unfair, it sucks, but take it from one who knows. You need to get in the drivers seat now. Grow up.

no, no, no, no!!! Now is definitely NOT the time to try to get into the pharma industry!
Besides, several pharma companies are merging, laying off and/or have hiring freezes, so stay with your fundraising! There are many experienced pharma reps out there who are qualified for any openings there may be. STAY OUT!!

Typical self absorbed little pharma rep. Hasn't a clue that there are highly educated and intelligent people among the masses of umemployed that are losing their homes, their life savings left and right. Look you little snot nosed brat, some people need a damn job so bad, that they're ready to do anything to feed/clothe and house themselves and /or their families.

Just because you hate your life, stop discouraging people who would be glad to have something to complain about.

Undoubtedly you scared that person away. I suggest to this person that they watch the job section here, just randomly start going to these companies home pages, go to all the career web pages, because there are jobs here. Why, because people like the brat above, have become to oblivious to anything other than themselves and are now being fired. There are tons of expansions and buyouts, during which dead wood will be sent floating for fresh faces that actually want to work.
