This will be the most important election EVER. Are we going to the backward right wing, neo-con run country or we'll take our country back and become what we were and are, decent country again?
Dion, is rebourn and loks better and better everytime he is on TV or any other media. Yes, he has an accent and some difficulty with English. What else is new? Most of us are the same. In Toronto we have at least 55% of people with "accent". Do I like it? Not necessarily but this is our reality. Here is a question to all who read this. Are you going to vote for Harper/conservatives/neo-cons because you do not like Dion for whatever reason? If you normally vote for neo-cons, that is fine. If you don't and would vote Liberal if it were not for Dion, then you are doing something terrible. Terrible for you, for your children, grandchildren, and your country. That will be the biggest betrayal you will do in your life and it will come back to haunt you, guaranteed. For if conservatives get their majority you and people like you will be responsible for it. We have much more progressive people min this country to guarantee liberal majority that is needed this time for sure.
So please do as I and many more will do, vote strategically. Wherever there is a tight race between any party and conservative candidate you vote against him/her so the other likely candidate wins, be it liberal or NDP or even Green (MacCay must be thrown out).
That way we can assure either someone's minority or Liberal majority. Save your country from disaster. It's up to us progressive and decent people.

I thught he was re-born and that was wrong. He was never born as a leader and is finished tonight. It is 10.24 pm and it looks 99.99% as neo-con-right-wing-reactionary-against-the-people- environment and everything else socially and otherwise progressive, minority Harper government.
It ain't tragic as it could have been had they gotten the majority. What will hapen, Dion will be out by resignation, Ignatieff will take over (that was his position anyway had it not been for that turncoat Kennedy) as the deputy, will be installed as the leader, will make a deal with NDP and will take Harper down at first opportunity. Libs and NDP will form a coalition government and will do well for the next 4-5 years. Harper thankfully will be done with this and will go into oblivion where he belongs.
We in Canada do not need such extreme leaders as Harper and you rednecks will never be in charge over the whole country. Stick with Alberta where you belong.

Imagine, they ended the horrible Bush era in USA and he wants to turn Canada into Bush America style country. It ain't heppening. Maybe in Alberta in the redneckcountry but not in the rest of Canada.
Advice to you oil barons of Canada; Your oil will be almost useless once electric cars are done. That will happen within 3-5 years. Then the game of oil is over and you will not redmail us any longer, get it? So you be nice to us, and kick Harper out with our help, next election. This is a centrist country and there is no place for neo-con-right-wing types here ever again. Harper and his bunch belong in 19 century. Someone should tell them it is long over. Well said. Aman! But be very careful. Harper is cameleon, fabricator, manipulator and just plain lier. As such he is dangerous for there still are some people who will believe him and get brain washed with his diabolical ads and 1936-45 style euro-propaganda.

You see, the money Mr. M got 300K in $1000.00 bills is just a small part of the total, but it is the part that got reported and got into the public domain. If this is the only money he agreed to do it for, he is not as smart as he or us think he is. 300K is small change in multibillion deal he approved and swine Schrieber got 30million in commissions. Mr.M should have gotten at least 3M, 10% that is for "finders" fee. You know what that means, bribe.
How was he paid, will remain mystery for ever. The 300K which Schreiber claims he paid for services in regard to Bear thing deal, was the way he paid off the bribe under the cover of this non-existen priject. They used it to cover up the payment of bribe as legit comission or fee for Mr.M's service that he in fact never conducted. Remembre his story last time. Total fabrication. He referred to dead people like Yeltzin with whom he talked the deal, so it could not be checked out. Lies and fabrications. What is he going to come up next week for 4 days?
If Mr.M got some more monies that he never reported, only swine Schreiber can say how much, when, where and how it was done. Will he do it. I think only if he gets pissed of with mr.M so badly that he will do it in retaliation and end up in our or German jail. On the other hand the whole thing maybe a game two of them play and will play it till we give up and let them go on without finding the real truth.
If there is one question I'd like to ask Mr. M, it is this:"How did you physically dispose of or spend 300 one thousand dollar bills? Did you pay saome of your expenses, did you give ms. M to buy her expensive clothes, did you give those bills to your servents to buy grocerries etc. etc. What did you do? The bills were kept in his NYC apartment and Montreal house
and we still don't know what happened to them. No one asked him that question. Maybe he traded them for a cheque from somebody giving say 300K for 250K in personal or corporate cheque. Then simply deposited it to his bank account thus laudering the cash.
What ever happens, Mr. M is as finished as Ms. Dhalla or Mr. Dion. But in his case he does not give a shit. He made it and in the process committed a perfect one.
Only in Canada you say, not a chance it's done by powerful everywhere and we the paople are left holding the bag.

Here is an idea for the epilog of this sad story: A government helicopter lands on the lawn of Parlament, Mulroney with his wife boards it and as he does he turns to cameras and says: I AM NOT A CROOK, waving to the 2-3 interested fans Nixon-like. Beautiful and proper end.

ps; finally we know what he "really did" with those 225 or 300 $1000 bills. :I dispersed them to my family members in Canada and USA". BIg classic lie used by evdry crook who gets caught as he did. There was a case of councilor in Toronto who was involved in some computer fraud. He too got thousand in bribe all $1000 bills. It was done in underground garage unlike here in secret hotel rooms. He too claimed that money came from his members of family reverse lie. He got off as this one will too.
