BE CAREFUL! I made the jump. Had to leave my old territory because of the non-compete. Showing up in a new territory promoting something other than Ford / Chevy / Dodge is dicey. Not only do they not know you, but they probably didn't get any real exposure to your products in their Fellowships, either. Its cute to say that you'll overcome those obstacles through needs analysis and handle those objections deftly because you're in SALES, but do yourself a favor and don't jump out of the frying pan into the fire. There are exceptions, of course. Unless you're being handed a territory that already has book of business that you can live off of - consider STJ or MDT, then maybe some other device (ortho / stim )...

Its a tough business but if you are good and know the business ins and outs, you can be very very successful. Sorin is not for everybody, only the best will make it in the sales circle. The product is that good but the careful part is weaving your way through alot of obstacles but when you make it, you make it.

Go back to pharma or something. Sorin does not need you if you are an ave. big 3 rep. You will fail as many before you. It takes a special rep to make this work and you dont sound like the one. Just saving you the pain if you cant make it there, you definitely cant make it at Sorin.
