no shot at getting bought. none. Been some close calls over the past few years, but this place will be doing an el foldo soon enough. last one out (you DB) turn out the lights.

Don't be so sure. LCA went to court with them when they started and I'm sure King won't forget that anytime soon.

Quest does a rigorous due diligence, and a lot of the small lab, under-the-radar stuff being done by CBL will be flagged as non-transferable business.

Cheap or not, don't count on either of the big two. More likely is a acquisition/merger of this lab and one or two others to form a larger entity. After that, they may be large enough for the big boys to notice.
