Hi I am currently interviewing with your company and had a quick question about the company culture and tolerance for diversity in the sales force. I am a six foot tall African American transgendered woman, who used to be a man. I had my penis surgically removed in France in 2000. I live happily as a woman, but it is pretty obvious, even with many hormone treatments and much plastic surgery, that I was once a large athletic black man. How is Ista about diversity among sales professionals? Will I fit in with this company? Do you have any transgendered or transvestite sales reps currently? Any serious input is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Diversity: You move to the head of the line. A short six months in the field and on to management! Of course we will need to fire a 49 year old white guy that is in your way.
I am sure we can find something wrong with his call reporting. Do not worry we will give him a 2 month package of full pay and health care. Besides we need to make up for the historic inequities of the past!

this type of unprofessional response is what will slow our momentum toward 100 million. Ask yourself, am I doing all I can to help this company reach its goals? If you have trouble answering that simple question, then God love you, Ista is not for you. Don't slow down our amazing progress with negativity. Don't stay here if you aren't willing to do the little things and focus on being the absolute best everyday in the field. At our sales meeting we saw some great leaders walk across the stage. Are you one of those people? Are you willing to give it your all everyday? Or are you one of the losers near the bottom, who always has an excuse for poor performance? Or even worse, are you a non believer who doesn't drink the kool aid around here and doesn't put the company first above everything else in your life. When you retire and get old, do you want to look back and be able to say you built the best company in eye care? To me there is nothing more important in my life and no greater challenge I can imagine besides making Ista profitable. Think about people!
