Just go hired and wanting to know typically how long is home study, and how is training in NJ? Just curious, trying to compare it to my other company I was with for 12 years. Just want to know what to expect. Can anyone help?

Sinking ship or not, at least it is a job and its not with GSK. Talk about a sinking ship, that was a sinking ship. Come on folks, surely someone can tell me something about the training and such.

I was told it would be about 2 weeks home study and 2 weeks in Tampa.

bulk reading of stuff you will forget before you get to training that has no bearing on what you will be doing.

old trainer is gone, new trainers may be doing something new but sure they will use recycled old training kit for home study.

home tests are open book like every place else, easy but cumbersome. so much reading, module after module. new antibiotic modules were the same thing but easier, but still have no relation to what you will be saying in the field.

training will be in NJ not tampa I would think, that's why B&L moved to nj. unless paula is going to help with the training in tampa? who knows what they are thinking. training is a total waste of time. no pressure, you don't get fired for failing tests here like at Eli or something. it's just a free month of income, so sit back, smoke a J (you already passed your drug test), put on some tunes and read your ass off, hope it's sunny where you live, so you can work on your tan.

Thank You. Finally someone will answer a question and be honest. Good to hear its not like the big pharma companies. GSK would send your ass home in a second. I know I won't have any problems with the material, just nice to know I want have the pressure. Thanks again.

I can't figure it out what is that they want us to say to our targets.any help would be of great help...
