Does anyone know what the topic of discussion is for tomorrow's nationwide MDx teleconference? I've heard some interesting rumors, . . .

Last I heard MDx went back to the old, pre-1999, alignment ... one team for contrast sales (about 100) and another team for nuclear sales (about 30). Probably most of the pains in the you-know-where are still in management.

Well, I heard no merit increases in MDx in 2009.

Also, John Chiminiski is gone as MDx President and has been replaced by:

In her most recent assignment, Ms. Witz led GE Healthcare’s Healthcare Systems Interventional global business, which researches and develops innovative medical technologies to help physicians diagnose and treat disease earlier, faster and more accurately.

Territories are bigger, management positions aren't being filled, and no new products on the horizon. Nuclear business has been separated again, about 100 contrast reps and 35 or so nuclear reps.

looks pretty damaging. I would think this would be the nail in the coffin for this premium priced agent, is GE spinning this finding?

Well, if I was a Bracco rep especially at a GPO like Health Trust, I'd be pushing Visipaque out of every nook and cranny that I could.

But you shoulda been doing that the last four or five years anyway.
