I actually don't care about the competitors as I have not lost too much business these past few years. I do know this will be my last year with this company as, like many TMs, word has reached me that missing budget this year will end my career (unrealistic quotas are worse than the competition). My RSM is useless, like many of them, there to micro-manage and threaten us, offering no real support or leadership and possessing NO managerial skills. We train the Hell out of the new TMs, which is admirable, but what kind of training do RSMs go through? NONE. And why did Skillman stop asking for TM reviews of their RSMs? Because they don't want to hear the truth that most of them are more a burden and hindrances than assets to their people. We are plagued by some real misfits as RSMs. Two were recently promoted so at least there is hope that their replacements will at least treat their people with RESPECT.

At this point, my territory is losing business to just about everyone, and truthfully, I could care less. After the last year, and the NBM, it is clear that I am not appreciated and my efforts will not be rewarded, so why put in the work. My know it all RSM and DOS have made it abundantly clear that if I am not on plan this year (after a GREAT year in '08), I WILL be put on plan. Never have I been SO de-motivated in my entire career. So yes, I am losing business, to everyone, and they are welcome to it as I am out the door ASAP.

If the Company had a plan and a marketing department (as far as I can tell we haven't either)maybe we could stop the blood letting, because folks, we DO have better products. Flexi-Seal is a better product than Zassi or Dignacare. (Most) of our wound care products are far superior to those of our competitors, and our skin care products ar the best out there.

Unfortunately we are all too busy trying to figure out what exactly constitutes a call (this might be a philosophical question...kind of like when President Clinton debated what the meaing of "is" is. Our management is being lead arond like a heard of sheep by this consulting company which likens assembly line style manufacturing principles to sales calls, ands 99% of the sales force is buring out quickly .
