I am so going to boycott Promotech. If TW isn't force shipping marketing materials, my manager is sending me 3 years worth of samples that expire this quarter. I got my new samples and want to kill my manager. What is he thinking??? My job description doesn't include storing materials and samples. Does it? Someone needs to put my poor kids on the payroll. They are sick of putting my junk in the basement and hauling it back upstairs when I need it. I'm sick of looking at this crap. Who in the world would want a basement full of this stuff? I'm so embarrased to have people over. Since the samples have to be locked up, I lost 2 closets in my house to samples. The junk that is supposed to be in my closets is in my family room. My kid's playroom is full of marketing materials. This isn't right. Someone needs to look into this. My manager just laughs, course my manager is afraid to rock the boat. Maybe I will give HQ a call this week and we can work out a contract where they start paying to rent out my basement. Since they have taken it over. Or they could just leave some of this stuff at Promotech and the reps could order it as needed. I know, I know, COST. Well, this is my house and since we are not allowed to get storage units, there needs to be a limit. This is not right. My manager has cut my target list and my offices don't use a ton of samples, how am I ever going to get rid of these? Any ideas? Seriously, my manager won't allow us to send expired samples back.

my suggestion would be to suggest to ascend to get you a manager that knows the rules! another example of an incompetent manager at ascend! did your manager ever hear of PDMA
guidelines? refer the idiot to page 17 of the ascend policies and procedures handbook effective april 2009! they might want to know what they are talking about while making the big bucks! (it's under general return requirements and i believe it refers to expired samples as well as damaged). you might also refer your manager to page 11. under the security section it talks about storage facilities. i feel very sorry for you having to deal with a manager like that.

you must work for one of the good mgrs. i'm so jealous! i don't get why they don't send out samples based on need? what is the purpose of flooding the offices with samples that expire in 5 minutes? it's crazy, and a giant waste of resources. especially with P4. hardly anyone writes it. you can't get anyone to give it away.

TW doesn't appear to be accountable to anyone, does he? What is the ROI for his "projects"? He spends, spends, spends with no results. I can't understand why he gets to make the choices and decisions he makes and that no one questions him. It's bizarre. We didn't need more P4. We didn't need an Estgel display, the list is endless. It's weird, he asks the RAB what they want and he does the opposite. What is his agenda and why is he so afraid to listen to others. Why would someone always choose to do the opposite of what the RAB and thus the field want? Is he that insecure? Any good leader, makes the most of his resources and team. give your placebos to your offices and tell them that it is a reminder of estrogel and to keep it out, and to just use it as a hand sanitizer (it is only alcohol), otherwise, it serves no purpose (furthermore, i cannot believe they are still spending money on these things when they were a dud even 3 years ago and no one wanted them then).

with most of the marketing materials -- cut your name off the boxes, keep the most pertinent, useful info and find a nice dumpster/paper recycle bin to get rid of the rest (thy schools, this lets you be totally anonymous)!

the company keeps trying to cut costs, well there is one major cut that could be made for $80-100k (hint, hint), oh, and they could stop spending a bunch of cash on sending out a bunch of worthless crap that shouldn't exist in the first place and is truly just a misappropriation of funds!!!!
