Anybody remember that survey we did following training in Long Island? I now know why they did such a thing. I gave glowing reviews to pretty much everyone because I was still in fantasy land, very excited about my new opportunity, a newly approved potential blockbuster drug, all those stock options, etc.
In hindsight, I believe they took the survey so early on in our tenures before we had any real insight into just what a bunch of tools/fools these people are. I ask you, if the survey was given today would you answer much differently?

Hell yes I would answer much differently. Remember the survey was about the "meeting" and most of it was planned via Forest's planning department and was about their training.
I gave medicore responses not a "glowing" report, because I didn't think it was the best training I had been to. The Diagnostic trainer RR was the BEST! The only thing we were not prepared for was the many challenges of drawing the blood for the tests.
Don't give these mushrooms that much credit about the survey, I think it was sent by Forest not Cypress.

How about picking up the phone and calling your manager or Pet/Bob......be heard, not on CP.

You are kidding right? First of all the managers are scared shitless of the RMs, The RMs have let it be known that they don't appreciate or promote transparency or "communication" about the frustrations and challenges of the company. They don't even want "suggestions" for improvement. They want it to "go away"
We have been warned by our DM before meetings to "not ask questions"
Next meeting if anyone dare ask questions, if the RMs are in the room, watch the body language and facial expressions. They roll their eyes, stare daggers at the person asking the question, tap their foot, etc., this is not open communication, it is a JOKE!
The culture at Cypress right now is "Be seen and not heard" if this culture is not corrected very soon, it is going to give Cypress a black eye in this industry.
Many times we have gone to our DM he will not move forward the information to his RM because he doesn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to his terrible management skills. Too busy managing his manager to actually manage his team, he is not the best manager -no ideas, no consistency with communication, cancels work withs, we get text messages all hours of the day about nothing, just so he appears he is communicating with us.
Call Pet/Bob? Our manager has made it clear that ALL communication is to be handled/funneled through him. DM doesn't even want us communicating with the home office people, "claims he will handle all of this" meanwhile most of our questions go unanswered for months at a time.
This would be perceived as going over our DM's head and not be a popular or smart thing to do.
The communication stream at Cypress is disconnected, the upper to mid level managers don't click or work well together.
Where have you been? You obviously are not part of this sales force, Cypress Management discourages open communication or transparency. That is why we are on Cafepharma. You got a problem with Free Speech? If you do, you are Cypress Management.

No problem with free speech.......problem with reps who bitch anonymously and never speak up in realistic forums! Anybody can type on a chat board and hide. Your gripes sound legit, common sense tells me if you were real, you would address all this with the appropriate sources, not cyberspace!

Wrong my friend! I for one came forward and so did my co workers it was of no use, it fell on deaf ears. I agree with you....life in the perfect world we would be able to discus the challenges and the suggestions for solutions to these issues. But life at cypress is far from "perfect" and right now no one in management.........including you - really wants to hear the truth.
This is why YOU choose to come to Cafepharma as well.
If Cypress wanted to hear the truth, something would be done about the illegal spa agreements and the managers that approved this crap!
Hate to quote "A Few Good Men" but............"You don't want to hear the truth"
you do however like coming on her as a discreet manager and asking us to come forward when you KNOW that NO ONE in upper management will give us the time of day.
My guess is Cypress (if they had half a brian) is already looking into these many compliance and legal issues.
We can go where we dam well feel like it to discuss the dirty dealings at Cypress, if you don't like the truth DON'T read it on Cafepharma.

We are real! what do you think we are fake?
Hiding is safer than being labeled "trouble" because we come forward. Every heard of retailation? I personally wouldn't want the wrath of upper managment on me, I have seen what they are capable of doing.
You yourself state "Your gripes sound legit"
Mr. or Ms. Manager go away if you don't like all your dirty laundry listed on this open forum.
Truth Hurts!!!!!

Ever heard of the law? "retaliation" is what I think you meant and it is ILLEGAL! Being afraid to work in a non threatening and non hostile workplace is sad. These are you basic expectations and rights. If you really think what you say is true, shame on you for not sticking up for yourself! This very reason is why cypress has an employee handbook and code of ethics. Exercise your rights, grow a pair!

We have some people in our district that won't speak up, the problem is 2 came forward, and a few more collaborated the issues but the rest we need a paycheck and no problems.
We hope that the "problem" person will be gone from the company but if not it is Cypress's problem.
Frankly, I have lost respect for Cypress and my manager. Cypress for hiring this RM that is a whack job has been from every company he has worked at and my manager for running and hiding like a little girl.
It's hard to come forward when you are in a threatening environment like this, because no one wants to invite more into your life.

I for one don't hold much faith in a company that reward$ people for illegal activity.

Cypress would have to give me a written guarantee there would be no retailation. I doubt if they would do this and since their word is no good based on the company's actions vs. verbal, not many people have faith in "the systems" handbook or not.

Managers at Cypress are a poor example of leadership. Worst I have seen in all my 10+ years of Pharma. Cypress scraped from the bottom of the barrel for these people. Our manager has failed us, never returns calls. When he does return calls, it is worthless, it is better to bounce the situation off of a team mate at Cypress than this incompetent fool. Not sure how he got back into pharma management, he was out of the pharma industry. Jittery and jumpy with no less than 20 text messages a week about nothing.
The RM will hand him his ass on a platter.

newsflash for you all. forest has all the say in the Rx side of Cypress, your targets, call metrics, etc., are mostly determined by forest administration and sales. they pay the bills so cypress can stay open 1 month longer.
very little input from cypress on the rx side.
the only thing cypress has 100% input on is the dx side.

think the poster was trying to remind others that bash the management over the Rx coverage that they (cypress management) have no say in these metrics.
not everyone gets it.

Go suck up someplace else and wake up. And Forest changed the contract to mandate 50% of calls sampled, right?! No, you can thank Cypress PeterBob for that one. Good sellingl!

NO SHIT! AND MY MANAGER TRIED TO PLAY THIS NEW MICROMANAGED TACTIC BACK ON FOREST!!! WHAT A JOKE. WE ALL KNEW IT WAS THE DICTATORS AT CYPRESS WHO WANTED THIS 50% HOGWASH. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN......ITS JUST ANOTHER WAY FOR CYPRESS TO TRY AND F YOU OVER. IT DOESNT TAKE A VERY BRIGHT PERSON TO READ BETWEEN THESE LINES....IF REPS STILL ARE LIVING IN FANTASY LAND, THEY ARE PATHETIC!
