Agreed: her illness is very sad and needs no comment here. OP stop with the personal attacks. As for the next poster's comments: please define a 'good manager'. You went on shakey ground there. Maybe you need to get fired if you think that constitutes 'good' management.

Is she getting help from a specialist or, at the very least, attending AA meetings; I hope so for her sake.
