Seriously, did everyone hear about the BSX CEO accusing us of CONSPIRACY and blaming all of their problems on our company? Am I the only one who thinks that's a total JOKE?! Quote from the recently published earnings report: "CEO is disappointed in the Heart Rhythm Journal for publishing the case re: Cognis/Telegin header coming loose. Said the cause of the noise was a competitor's lead and seemed to suggest that there was some sort of conspiracy driven by this competitor."

STJ is a competitive company, and they are hiring high-caliber people so they can grow revenue and market share. What's wrong with hiring some unemployed sales reps who have great relationships with doctors who can become STJ customers? Apparently this bloody-failure Ray Elliott thinks that BSX is the greatest thing since sliced bread and nobody can ever leave BSX to go work for a competitor. It is difficult to imagine that BSX didn't find clear reasons to dismiss of these people.

You're absolutely right. If they WERE truly guilty, you're right! They SHOULD be investigated (as most ppl in this industry could be). The problem is, BSX could not truly "investigate" them in a way that will hold up in a court of law; nor could they report them to the DOJ bc this was all a total farse. BSX would (and will) LOSE. It was all a part of a bigger plan and these people were pawns. I don't know many of them, but I know two VERY well and they have unqueastionable characters. The competition was calling them even BEFORE they were fired bc everyone in the industry knew about this and it just further solidified the perception that BSX upper leadership makes bad decisions. Why else would bsx share plummet after this debacle? And by the way, SJM is not the only company that hired these people!as a matter of fact, only 4 went to SJM. NO company respected this decision and it was only a reflection of bsx. Not the people. THEY are the lucky ones in all this. The timing of this action taken in Dec, the restructuring into the new "crv" (whatever) division, the announcement of 13% reduction in force, the pending recall that will put BSX UNDER and the questionable "absence" or "long term leave" by John Russell,who knows the true "story" is all quite obvious. Reporters HAVE been contacted and the attys involved have given them a specific # of days before they can print stories. The people effected by the scam in Dec are happy...they get to watch this debacle unfold. The 13% effected in the rif will also be lucky. Who do I ask for a RIF spot?

Grammar, spelling and writing skills are not so important in our world of selling to physicians. It is about RELATIONSHIPS. It is not about discipline or details or typing. Texting? Perhaps. Writing isn't a strength for docs, so they will not judge you poorly if you suck at it. Stroking egos, rubbing elbows with the brass, THAT is what wins the hearts of our customers.
