Two months and not a single post on any GE Healthcare businesss?

A year or so ago, one of the most lively discussions on the Life Sciences business (old Pharmacia Amersham business) and how GE killed the goose that laid that golden egg ...

And a bunch of posts on the Medical Diagnostics business (Amersham contrast media/nuclear medicine).

I noticed GE posted a $30 billion profit in 2009 and paid $0 in US Income Taxes.

What's going on in those business ... as well as the captial equipment business?

Or have the GE folks told everyone that posting on this board is verbotten ...

Well you noticed that both Life Sciences and MDX were once Amersham, so they are only ones that really care what is on this site.

You failed to notice that GE lost 408 million in the US last year, no profit, no taxes.

But US tax law does tax the foreign earnings of US corporations, after foreign tax has been paid.
