Not a good week to be a Multaq rep as doctors and staff are not happy with calls from patients on heart failure or if they'll die if they stay on drug. Again, just like in Jan we've got nothing to stand on as were in limbo and we can only say the person that went ahead and approved Pallas study has been Baker Acted. Hey Paul in Medical Affairs-- Great job with Pallas.

I would rather be in Vegas this week doing the marathon role-play sessions and grinders verses the crap this week.

Actually, this has been fun. Lets see, I have heard the following phases yesterday and today: "Stupid Move by your company". "What the F*#K was your company thinking". "Any idiot knows that you don't give an AAD to a patient in permanent AFIB". "Your company just got greedy". "Thanks for all the BS my nurses had to go through to fix your shit". There is no way that Vegas could have beaten this party. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Bring it on BITCHES!

The last 8 months of "selling" Multaq has been BRUTAL! My boss and Regional have been the best even during the tough times and that is what is so difficult for me at this point!

The company/"big wigs" have made some bad/de-motivating decisions, on top of that have crushed many people's drive with the decisions! The delay in response about Liver issues, upcoming delay about Pallas, crazy Q2 2010 bonus structure, the constant changing "BUCKET" system and the final straw... the decision to change how they evaluate, pay and rank reps in 2011, based on how poorly you did in past... WOW! It is very sad and I hate to see what is happening, because until the last 8 months S-A was great to me and for my career. I am very sad to believe that this ship is going down... the people here are great people faced with a very bad situation.
I predict 300 reps selling Multaq by year's end, another round of layoffs to combat the loss of Plavix next spring and 3-4 more tough years ahead. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm making a move hopefully within the next few weeks, mostly because it is a great opportunity with a stable company that is on the upswing but also to pre-empt the carnage I see in my dreams that are about to happen here. The truth is, I would not even have taken the call to interview if it were not for the last 8 months, things happen for a reason. I wish the best of luck to all of you & to sanofi... I want you all to come out on the other side of this stronger and I want to be 100% wrong about what is happening here, while being 100% correct about my move. It was a great run, memories are great but it's time,,, for me,,, to get gone!

One of the largest cardiology practices in the Midwest just called every patient on Multaq and told them to discontinue and come in for an office visit to get switched to another drug...what a DISASTER!

Mid-west can only mean St Louis to Ohio. Sorry about the pain for you. I am lying my ass off in my territory. What PALLACE trial? No shit, the FDA did that! I can't belieive it! Man that sucks! I guess the patient can go back to AMIO or something else. Man, I'm going to call my regional office and chew them out for this! Snicker, snicker all the way to my car. Sanofi, you caused this, you fix it!!!!! Not my problem!!!!

Rain man time to switch your therapist. And you should care because if cuts happen and people stop posting you'd be lost.
