Sanofi management is a great example of what can happen when you let a good ole boys insider club run your company for too long....

All of senior management...that were handed their positions because of who they knew in senior Sanofi management after the merger...reached the level of their own incompetence several years ago.

Durso, Irace, Balzer, Barry...not a one of them has the INTELLIGENCE or MANAGEMENT SKILL to rise to anywhere near this position in any other pharmaceutical company but Sanofi...

Anyone outside of the boys club ran for the hills long ago knowing they were playing a fixed game...

Now the INCOMPETENTS are running the company into the ground...

You can't have this thread going unless you include Ragans and all the knuckle draggers he brought into management roles. This has been a textbook case of incompetent senior management not knowing how to react to market changes. Really what other company would of hired 5000 people for a drug that was shutout by the FDA 14-0. You just can't make this stuff up.

But you've got to give credit where its due. Those guys could really sell cough syrup! I find it very hard to believe that they couldn't sell in the cardiovascular arena. Blame the french idiots for not weeding out the moron factor. When they come over here they should of really reached out to find good people in pharma. There're are some good smart people out there but the Frogs were to worried about the next Vegas was.
