What pay am I owed if I gave a fair 2 weeks letter of resignation and they declined it and verbally told me services no longer needed?

I don't believe a company is "required" to pay you 2 weeks notice. Last job I quit, I was told that they stopped payroll as of that day (as well as stopping insurance benefits ... they used to pay the two weeks and insurance through the end of the month, but about 6 months to a year before, they did provide us with a notice that the policy was changing.

Unless you have a contract stating they do pay 2 weeks severance, you may not be entitled to anything. But then again, I'm not a lawyer and I'd decide for myself if it's worth consulting one for a real answer. Check the company HR manual ...

And if you had worked for GE, just be happy you're away from that cesspool.

They don't owe you anything, did you go to a competitor or where you about to get fired? Typically they would cash you out. What part of the company do you work for?
