There was a lot of sucking at SP before the merger. How do you think the females were promoted to managers? It was not based on their intelligence, work ethic, or brainpower. At least now we promote people based on merit.

And Alex, the Jeopardy answer is, "what is a moot question?" For you see, it sucks to be connected to Merck in any capacity, and the suckiness is all relative. Sales, Administration, Manufacturing, R&D, it makes no difference. Dulera or Juvisync? Sorry, but there is no difference on the sucks scale. It all boils down to, it sucks to be you, no matter where you are in Merck. Take heart however, for that can always change, if you will.

2. Still happens at mother Merck. The Merck people need to stop acting so arrogant. I hate the fact that they feel we are below them. Last time I checked we are equal.


Not all female managers have done immoral acts. There are many talented female manager that have climbed up the chain because of dedication and commitment to WORK.

this whole place sucks and it used to be good. now we get the likes of people like ortiz and other unqualified LER's to "lead us". One attendance at a meeting run by these clowns in the west and you will know exactly why we are where we are. As long as you have fake tits, show them off, and let a few select people suck on them, you will be good. This had turned out to be a disaster. then they all sit around afterwards and want to hear everybody tell them how great the meeting was. makes me sick to my stomach whenever i hear of another t/c this group is putting on. thats what they make them do to earn their LER status and make them appear relevant. they are not. sorry.

Yes many have and they have also been given a leg up on equally qualified men because of the name of diversity. Don't even mention race and or sexual orientation. If you are a black women and a lesbian, you really have it made!

At least the management that was cut this round (hand raiser or not) brought very little value to the company. I think we have a long way to go. It would be nice to see people get to the management position who really deserve it.

I worked in Kenilworth and that was nothing more than a whore house. I actually felt bad for the husbands because a lot of the woman were married. The moral Compass went South. It was clear SP generally went in the opposite direction of acceptable moral and ethical standards. I have no clue about Merck. It couldn't be worse.

I worked in Kenilworth, too, and I take exception with what you just said - I don't know anyone who could fall into this description. However, when I was brought over to the pristine halls of Mother Merck, who pursued me oh, so aggressively to engage in an extramarital affair - yep, a well respected Merck dude with 20+ years. So get off your moral high horse - it happens all over.
