I went to my doctor to try alvesco and he said flovent was much better. He is an allergist, so I guess he should know. He said he has never even seen a alvesco rep before. Is this your product or Takedas? I'm not sure who to call.
As a PhD in mol. biology who doesn't work for Sunovion, I can say that Alvesco is at least equal to Flovent, if not better. It has a lower impact on HPA axis and when they did the clinical studies, actually they did it with once a day dosage Alvesco (instead of two, common with all other corticosteroids) and it still worked fine for the patients.
Alvesco is better. Patients switched from Flovent, some Patients improved. Less hpa axis suppression than Flovent. Less cost
