Heard rumors of this from my mgr. Anyone hear this too. Seems crazy if you ask me. Drug is way to new. Seems we need to add head count in certain areas. Maybe add and cut? Last thing the company needs is everyone interviewing to leave.

That is the rumor and it is growing day by day. Too many people in one area and not enough in others. There may be a rearranging of territories. Also heard ZS has been called in to look at this. Managers are presenting on each territory as part of this process?

What areas are you hearing? How many cuts? Why? Bottom 10% is what I heard. Company doesnt get it! Big Pharma in charge. Greg, Pedro, and Mike at its best! Panic after 6 months.

Doubt bottom 10%. They are the ones calling on the largest academic centers with the greatest potential. Some larger cities have 3-4 reps and could get away with 2-3 while other areas have not enough. Cut from one and add to another. Company realizes that current rankings don't mean anything.
Why are we on a 6 month IC and not 12? Because new alignments will be in place on July 1? There is a lot we are not being told here.

It makes sense. 1 Rep with 2 states vs 8 reps in one state. The future is retail and the territories were set up for hospital. Even our HAM titles need to change.

It would help if direction is hospital, retail, ltc...They are all over the board...I havent heard any of this happeneing at all...Crazy reaction to inflated goal...We are still in launch mode and cut head count? crazy! Start w ML

Head count would not be cut. Just cut from one area and added to another. A ham in Chicago might be offered a job in California. Up to them to take it or leave it.

Cutting by June. Jersey City is run by nuts who do not have a clue what selling a drug takes, time, investment. Marketing and med affairs both run by complete idiots..two of the sheer dumbest pharma people in the business. Good luck

Whybadd Ltc, unless of course, Deficate will be sold as a generic. Ltc is about cheap drugs, baloney sandwiches as a dinner and low end help.

I wouldn't call Seattle Genetics poor execution. I know a few people over there and they are going strong. I heard their last bonus was over 25k. I highly doubt they are paying those bonuses with poor execution. Do some research on their stock. Looks like WS is really starting to hype them.

Who cares if the company is Screwed up. If reps are making 25k bonus they're doing great. In the end it's all about making as much as possible as quickly as possibly. Everything else is irrelevant.

You'll be lucky to make $25k in bonus in two years here. I left a high paying bonus position for this gig. Told a lot of things have never come true. Company is in total panic mode right now and it shows on every level.

You are right! I think with the AD's on down we were all deceived on what kind of opprotunity this would be. They said hospital sales, huge financial opprotunity and great culture. We are primary care with less than primary care bonus and a culture of fear and panic. Total disaster.

agree with above posts...25k a good bonus? what have you sold in the past? toothbrushes? at this stage of the game, 25k should be a top 5% quarter bonus. lied to from day one and now we have call metrics? what a joke...yeah that analysis will help drive an overpriced drug from a company that puts its shareholders rather than the patients first. for shame, we will not recover you get one chance to launch a drug. mistake after mistake. hey but from a HAM perspective, glad the RAMS, HEORLS and MSLs are being promoted left and right...new titles daily...and us HAMS doing all the grunt work...nothing thanks. i am so pissed at the peeps who recommended i come here. signed disappointed and looking.

that's how zs works! they will look at territories and districts. If there are overlaps or low optimization, then zs will suggest a merging of territories/districts. thus, two or three reps may have to compete for the new territory. your qualifications maybe the rd just likes you.
