This is BS and you know it. Science??? Who did the study MJ? How about getting a product that hasn't been grown by genetically modified corn sprayed with Round-up. It is going to be hard to sell this stuff, science or not with people signing petitions all over the US to label GM foods. You will soon have to label your formula. It is up for vote here in California in November. Better get the scientists to work!

Seriously though, MJ should at least use organic milk without BGH. If I had an infant I would want the DHA, prebiotics, but no growth hormone. It will be interesting to see where this GMO labeling goes. Hopefully our company will be proactive instead of reactive. This subject has been getting a lot of attention.

Corn syrup of any kind is under fire. All of it is genetically modified meaning for those of you that don't know.....a protein was added into the seed to make it Round-Up ready. Round-Up is then used for weed control not killing the corn plant. THIS is what you are selling people. This is what you are feeding the precious babies. If MJ really wanted to own the market they would make a non GMO product. Especially for all NICU. People would pay.
Watch the documentary "Corn" and "Food Inc". There are presently no studies to see the effects of Round-Up on the human population. We are presently the research study.

It won't be long before physicians will go to a website, spend a few minutes looking at promotional and clinical material on THEIR time, request samples and get them mailed, all without any sign of a rep. Why do you think many salesforces are using interactive detailing with laptops or iPads? We're tacitly training the physicians toward acceptance of this new delivery method.

Something will have to change soon. Check out the latest stock price (down 6%) and analyst takes - pressure in China from Pfizer brands, NA & Europe down. Cannot keep this up too long as a one trick pony. Maybe more than meets the eye behind SG retiring.

Dirk Hondmann SR VP of global research and development sold 6,355 shares of MJN stock last week. Interesting when top people are selling stock and leaving the company. But hey sales on newborn diapers are up.

Guess the VP knew when to get out, stock is down to 73 and downgraded.

We wont be back for long with shrinking access to hospitals, OB offices, and ped offices. Along with the push for breast feeding. What's really scary is the slow down and increased amount of competition in China. If we lose China we are done. The US birth rate is still down so this won't make up for the loss in China. That means cuts will have to be made

I have to agree with the above poster. I am no longer in the industry but like to look around from time to time. Earlier this week when I read that the mayor of New York City has made all hospitals under city control baby friendly, I knew that this was an ill wind for the major brands.
