I am new to CROs, the only position I know of is a CRA.

What positions are available to work at CROs?

As you may have seen by now, this board is a place for disgruntled ex-CRO employees (many of whom have been terminated). Want some information on CROs? Try any other source on the web. This place is toxic

Do not bother with CRO's. They are repulsive organizations. Their only interest is to line the pockets of their equally repellant senior management.

Like I said ^^^ disgruntled ex-employees who were tossed to the curb for non performance. Do your own investigating on CRO career paths and don't rely on these sad has beens

Here's some real info, hope it is helpful. Some jobs you can do at a CRO, assuming you have a bachelors degree minimum and some pharma, CRO or clinical experience and not looking for an advanced positon are:

    -Study Start Up Specialist
-Data Manager (they arent managers, they manage the data site's provide)
-Project Specialist (right hand of Project Manager)
-In house CRAs (no travel, and only available at some companies, like PAREXEL)
-All the levels of CRA as you gain experience- CRA I, CRA II, sometimes a III, Senior CRA and lead CRA (in some companies a Lead CRA is a Senior CRA, in some companies it is a seperate position and they have limited travel, like at PAREXEL and INC).
-Safety Specialist (I believe you need to be a nurse)
-Quality Assurance- usually have some CRA experience

Oh look, the cheerleader is back. You obviously must be a senior leader of a CRO because you are completely out of touch. For example, you are always pointing fingers at the employees and not accepting the fact that the organization may have some serious issues that need attention in order to retain employees. Stop blaming employees and look at the root cause of why people may be disgruntled with the work environment.
