No Company Car, go to ADP for that...instead you get a $450/month expense reimbursement on your paycheck.

In regards to expense allowances, nothing of that nature. If you need to buy lunch for your clients, then drop the cash. Paychex is good about supporting it's reps in that sense...

Laptops and BlackBerry's coming in the Fall for all their reps, at this exact moment no computer or cell phone is provided...

Base Salary's Range from $37-$45K....Commissions for the average rep average about $1000-$2000/month

P.S.- This is for the Core Division (1-50 employee companies).....I have no clue what the Major Market Division pays...

Yes, the information posted above is very accurate. Salary ranges have not changed.

Laptops are now standard, and Blackberry's are an option. (If you want to see $100 removed from your monthly $450 allowance.)

The $450 is not just for a car allowance as the above poster suggested, it's supposed to cover car and cell phone, etc.

Average monthly commission is going to range from $1-$2K as stated, however you should make $5-$9K in the month of January. (Paychex biggest sales month of the year.)

My first year I made $50K, this year I should see $60K.

odd... but how do paychex people know about cafepharma? and why do you post on a forum that's dedicated to medical sales?

i don't care either way, but i'm just curious.

Well...Hum....Perhaps they are looking to advance their careers by moving into pharma or medical sales.

Just a guess...

I was at Paychex for 3 years. I was a "conference rep" all three years and barely made 90k. Expense package is shit, but it is a good company to use as a stepping stone into medical device sales.

Paychex will give you good training, the sale is a peice of cake, the job can be done in 20-30 hrs a week. Again, great stepping stone, but even as a sales manager you'll barely be able to clear 100k.

Benn with Boston for 2 years. When interviewing, they liked my three years with ADP more than 5 years of pharma as a 10% rep. ADP has great sales training, other companies i.e. device, know you can sell if you were successful at ADP. They even teach you how to dress in a professional environment-no kidding but it's one of those things you learn in tour 20's that you will never forget.

I work at Paychex selling 401k plans. I made $113 last year working about 30-35 hours a week. It's a good company and stepping stone. Some reps stay long term, I'm currently kicking tires to see what other options are out there. Medical companies seem to like the experience.
