I've been working for Lilly for 2 years and I must say... Too many promises. Too much pressure. DMs are a joke, pretending like they could make 9 calls out in the field. I would like to see my boss run my territory and sell these drugs. NOW THAT WOULD BE FUNNY. Imagine telling your boss, "that's not a call, you need to make 80% frequency, and you could have progressed that call better." What a joke!

They aren't layoffs, remember- "re-deployments"! And YES, there are going to be more. My DM already told us in our District Meeting. However, not effecting Nueroscience as Instituion was already hit, this round will be from PC and will be done by October 1st.

Cymbalta will be a good drug, but it will not come close to meeting Lilly expectations. Thus, the stock will remain stagnant, DM's will be super intense and the reps will be told they cannot sell. Layoffs to come.

8 year employee here w/ Lilly. It makes me sick to know that since I have been hired by Lilly, I have started taking antidepressents, been diagnosed as ADHD, gained 35 pounds, haven't slept a solid night since my last Xanax. This is fucking nuts. The good thing is, I've done well for myself, good bonus, good raises (most of the time), but now I'm finding myself disgusted at the thought of another 20 years at this joint! I know I know- find another job---- I'm trying--- guess what- pharma reps have about as much luster in the job market as a car salesman! Oh did I freakin mention that I see a psych 2x per month due to the fact that I hyperventilate every time #'s come out. About the time I get my shit back in line- boom- out comes the dashboard------What a tortured life.

Plenty of posts about the impending lay-offs from some "source in Indy", you can call them redeployments or layoffs, but it looks like what everyone in Neuroscience is complaining about is hitting PC, etc. Anyone have real dates on when each div is affected?
