You'll be missed Robinson! You taight us how to stick up for what we belive in. Also, you taught us that Schering VP's can actually have a sense of humor.

The guy is a stud motivator and people person. He fought like hell for the reps on incentive issues and recalcs. We need another one like him and soon.

ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY?

Are you forgetting how he totally F--ed everything up when Pegasys launched? Roche should be paying him for all the money they've made.

Also, fought for incentives? This idiot got on a conference call with the entire sales force saying that he knows there are reporting issues and they'll be resolved quickly. NOTHING EVER HAPPENED! Not to mention, 5 months later at the POA's he stood up in front of everyone and said that he didn't want to hear about reporting issues any longer and we just have to sell.

I don't know if you people are new and bought into his nice guy image, but you have to look at the facts. Maybe in the next few days, I'll come on here and lay out a few more total screw ups this guy has made over the years.

Right now, however, I have to get some sleep so I can get up in the morning and sell some Avelox. Oh, wait, something else that dickhead got us into. Selling Avelox to ID's so that we build relationships for the CCR5. Wait a second, I only have 2 ID"S on my list. The rest are: 9 ENT's, 3 Pulmonologists and 16 PCP's. Anyone else have Avelox targets that are 500 miles away in the middle of no where? Yeah, he's a genius alright.

PS. The next head to get lopped off should be CR. I've got the champagne ready to go when that VM is sent out. Another know-nothing-prick.

The previous post is stated like someone who misses their Mommy. Didn't you get enough attention from her? Or was your brother / sister always better?

Anonymous

To the previous poster crying bc they miss their mommy should remember that JR wasn't even around when our competitor launched. He inherited bad decisions and research FDA approval bungles in a time when we had to shut down everything we were doing.

Spare us your future analysis.

I can't believe he lasted this long! I hope CR goes with him..the mciromanaging prick

WOW it seems like we have some Robinson defenders here, huh? I'd like to find out why. Specifically, what did he do in his tenure that made him such an effective leader of the division? Spare us the motivation part, that's BS. What actions did he take ensure the success of our products?

Also, I don't like to speak for others, however the poster (who obviously doesn't like JR...like most of us) is probably talking about what JR didn't do the entire time he was here. He sat back and accepted the fact that we were number two and accepted the fact that we were beaten.

I don't know if it was JR or CR who wrote the above posts about JR, however I will tell you that most, I mean a huge majority, don't feel sad to see this clown go.

I will reiterate one thing though. I hope that CR is next as well.

BTW, I know CR reads Cafe Pharma, so I hope he knows how most of us feel about him. Not that he's a bad guy, just an ineffective leader who doesn't get the things done that need to get done.

Sorry CR, those are the facts.

CR if you are reading this, start treating people like adults and respect them Expect them to do well, don't look to try and trip them up.

Hey, here's an idea. Pay you people. Let's either figure out what's going on with the massively screwed up reporting system and pay people for what they are doing or just pay all of us the same based on something

CR is in love with Robinson

Anonymous

I completely agree and if we were to get lucky enough to see CR go as well maybe we can have a party and invite the half of the sales force that has left in the last 2 years to the party also.

Gives us in PC information on JR. When did he leave? Was he let go or did he leave on his own and if he left on his own where did he go? Thanks

He announced yesterday. Will be gone by the end of the month. Says he left on his own, but who knows. Says he's going back to Chicago to "explore" a new opportunity.

I can't believe it has taken this long! True, JR inherited many problems, yet while he was here I can't think of any real impact he had other than entertain us and remind us "It's all about me". Jim may have said all the right things to us and the customers, but personally, his follow-through and actions were lacking - empty promises. I wish JR and his family all the best.

You guys can debate all you want but the facts are these.....JR is gone. Personally I say, good riddens.

Now on to CR. We can debate this for days. The only reason he is there is because of his relationship with JR. Isn't he the godfather of JR kid or the other way around? He's another one that changed his mind about finding out why so many of our territories are under-reporting. He doesn't care anymore, so I don't care about him. Let's through him up there and hang him.

Good riddens to him as well.

JR and CG = market share, sales

Yeah right !!!!!!!!!

How come our KOLs hate JR and CG ?

Glad to hear that changes are being made (I left a while ago). To this day I can't figure out why JR and CG lasted as long as they did. And was surprised to hear that the bumbling idiot CR got any upper management position at all (well lets face it we were all surprised when he made DM).

I check in here everyonce in a while to see if they are still around. So it was nice to finally see a post stating that one of them is gone.

CG needs to go next (he should have gone first). Maybe hep will finally get a true leader, and one that can make acutal decisions. Hell even 1 decision and sticking with it would be great!

Best of luck to those still in OBBU, when it was good it was good. Truly the best of the best when it came to the reps!

Best of luck everyone, hopefully you will get the leadership so desperately needed, and will be allowed to shine once again!

BTW, previous post was sort of right. Robinson wasn't there for the Pegasys launch, but was there for Roche's combo launch. (The one that mattered).

Anyone ever have to ride along with CR?

Anonymous
12-07-2005, 10:09 PM
I did. In fact I took him around town to docs I knew would not be available to see us. We waited in several offices for about 30 minutes, just wasting time. It was a real drag, but it served a good purpose. I didn't want to sit with my doctors and go over meaningless bullshit. I purposely took him the long way, sitting in idle traffic speeding across town to the next unavailable doctor, moving at a record speed of 3 mph, divinely interrupted by heavenly red lights every 300 feet. It must have taken 45 minutes to get across town through the back route. Had I been a taxi driver, I'd a made a fortune. At the end of day I dropped him off early and exaggerated about the time it would take for him to get to the airport. I figured it never hurt anyone to get to the airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight. Afterall, he must have much more important business to get to - like a family who never sees him.

So now you realized you are not calling on only ID's like Jimbo suggested, but ENT's and Pulmonologists. Next thing you know you will be making two trips to your storage to pickup some Avalox samples, because you can't fit blue bags, sharps and enough Avalox samples to pass around to your primary care physicians as well as your ent's, pulmo's, id's and gi's. Moreover, you'll be told that Avalox makes up 50% of your incentive payout and that your payout will not all be in cash, but gifts you'll be able to buy with paper money. Thanks Jimbo. http://www.cafepharma.com/ubbthreads/images//graemlins/confused.gif

All JR did all day was bash the sales force and try to justify his miserable existence. The only reason he spent so much time on the data issues was that he hoped he could find a increase in the national mkt share and when that did not materialize he dropped the whole thing - there are still data issues but they don't care. I glad that one half of the "DYNAMIC DUO" is GONE and maybe we will get rid of CR and SL by XMAS. Hey JR is that "below the line" because it is all about you.

Try having him for a DM!!! Utter hell. Pick up at 7:30 drop off after5:30. You cold never do anything right, then have him go over your gas receipts with a fine tooth comb to make sure you weren't getting gas close to home at 8:45 or adding up the miles if you got gas on a Sat to make sure you reported enough personal miles. Class A jerk.

I totally agree with you. It should have been done a long time ago. However, let's be grateful for what has happened now and hope someone can come in and steer this ship in the right direction.

Do you think they'll go outside the division or pick someone like Pearson?

More resignations my friends. Even though JR has left his impact is still felt. JC in southern CA put in his resignation.

Here's a guy who has been with the company forever. Great rep and even a better guy. If things changed even a little I suspect he would have never looked elsewhere.

It just pisses me off we keep losing great people. Take care JC, we'll miss you

What about the So. klCA DM position. They can't find anyone to fill it, then when they do and send him to training, he quits before it's done. Guess he had a case of the smarts.
