There is an opening and I have been contacted. I grew up in Madison and I am thinking of moving back from Chicago. Why is the position open? How is the management team up there? What is the culture like at Sankyo?

Thanks in advance for any help you could afford to me on these questions. Serious reply's only please. No need to talk trash to a prospective interviewee. I know a lot of posts on these boards come from a handfull of immature people but I would really appreciate any insight an educated professional could offer. Thanks.

If the Manger leaves you will be alright... Madison is still one of the worst places to work if your in pharmaceutical sales. No access, know one comes to programs, and now you have to play a $200 fee a year just to see doctors at the UW Hospital is what I was told by a rep that still works there. I have a different part of a state, thank God, but there is a revolving door policy in place and managers love to use the rep as the excuse why they don't do well there. The products did have decent coverage but it is difficult to move product when you can't see key people. I would not take this job, unless you also have part of Milwaukee! Turn around time here if your lucky is about 2 years, the managed care guy was decent, not sure about the new guy. I am sure I will get some lame ass reply on this, but I use to work this territory for GSK awhile back ago, most people that never have worked here don't get it and most likely never will unless they work the territory.

Why did the Wisconsin RAM position open up? What happened to the old RAM? Is he/she still with the company? Did he she quit, get fired or move to a different position?

I heard he got fired but am not from that area. They have fired a lot of people working in WI in the last year or so. I think the RAM was one of the ones that got fired.
