Just look at IBM and other companies, they are doing away with company funded pension plans and moving toward employee funded 401Ks, employees retiring at 55 will be no more, unless they have $7 million in their 401k! LLY will not stand by and continue their pension as it is now when other profitable companies are discontinuing them! Look for changes SOON.....

Think about this, the turnover of pharma reps and territory
eliminations is SO HIGH right now the pension plan will be
solvent for only those that are eligble for retirement in the
near future or one that collecting right now.So if you have
the "MAGIC # 80" GET OUT.If not sock as much $$$ away as you can. It's definately coming.

Print this out and frame it:
Lilly will begin a 'death spiral' sometime in the next 3-6 years. All of you losers who exist by 'sucking on the Lilly tit' will be fucked. Meanwhile, I will laugh my nutsac off while all you Lilly asswipes are scrambling for nonexistent jobs.
At that point, you will be fighting over jobs at Starbucks, which will drive their labor costs down. I will take a major equity stake in Starbucks at the opportune time, and be cashing in my windfall profits while you bungholes are serving 4 dollar drinks to teenagers who are driving better cars than you.

I am going to laugh my ass off when Lilly terminates their pension program and all the loser DM's who have hung around get a taste of their true beloved Eli Lilly.

who care!?! only guys who have been w/Lilly or any company for 5-10years plus...as young ones with sub 40 and/or less tenure know that pensions are a thing of the past...employees must be able to adapt and overcome folks who have 20+yrs with a company are long gone...wake up read the business news and get educated learn how to get the most out of your 401k setup a IRA Roth and start a stock fund in addition to your money market fund and regular old savings account...and if you don't belief me...hee don't cry out to Uncle Tom and therest of us who sacrificed a little on certain luxuries of life(Starbucks, fancy car) and put it away, read "The Millioare Next Door" and again either get with a financial advisor or start readin gthe books that will set you up for a more secure financial future...

Ha Ha Ha. Go ahead and get fired - you still get your Lilly pension, if you're vested. 3 weeks later they send you a letter with your printout of the exact amount of $$$ at different ages........glad I'm gone and have it in writing. It'll probably be dissolved soon for all of the losers that stayed - us low lifes can suck out all the money!!!

IBM plan did not and will not "vanish"
READ! After 2007 "no more NEW contibutions will take place... and 401K contribuitons and matching funds will be increased..."

Newbies already know that pensions are like SS---just b/c you have a # doesn't mean you'll get YOUR check!

30-40 y.olds--Start praying for your lottery #'s!

Old Retired Farts know we will HAVE ALL THREE! SS+401K+PP= http://www.cafepharma.com/ubbthreads/images//graemlins/tongue.gif.!!!
Got Deficits???
