Spectrum interview...

I've had a discussion w/ the manager on the phone, and I may have a face-to-face interview with the VP of sales. I think her name is Karen Yomens. I've read below that she's never been a sales rep, and yet she is VP of sales. How is that possible? What do you guys think? Not sure if this is worth pursuing at all. I may just stay in Pharma or try to go the device route. Would making a move to Spectrum be a bad move? Thanks in a advnce.

What is your goal in going there? What is the territory? If you want to hit it hard, keep your head low, AND make twice what most pharma reps do then give it a shot. Do not view Spectrum as a career as you are not just a number but you are a highly dispensible number. They will NOT invest anything in you (training, support, etc) but the rewards can be great if you can "get 'er done!!". Plan on 1-2 yrs max if you are good.
