Did not go back to Sankyo, he was on his way out because of numbers and the RD knew that he was worthless. Story on the street is that he was a joke for a manager with zero direction and always would pass the buck and was not professional.

replacement Dm played football for the gators. if he brings the intensity of SEC football to the business, i bet he makes a positive difference in district results and the sucess of the folks who have it lucky... lucky to live/work in one of the most beautiful places in the country. give him a chance. everyone might win!

Nice statement from the new DM that played football for the gators but this is a different DM position that is being discussed and people do not really give 2 shits about Gator football in NC.

he was not worthless man. He didn't micro manage which may be a crazy concept to you. We had our first conf call with the stand in DM from charlotte today.....if this is any sign of whats to come we will lose 40% of our sales force (quitting not getting fired)

get ready to quit. I am a rep in the charlotte district and what we have seen has been interesting. Your manager did not micro manage, he did not manage. His district was always last in the region. 2 years. You cant go through this job by being a samples dropper. You have to sell. YOur manager was just plain slack. You may not realize it now but you will be better off with some knowledge of how the business really works and a manager that is really out to help make you better. Name one thing that he did for your district or region that was impressive. Just one.

Good old Nichols. A few years back when he came up with the great idea to ask for 100% of the business, I was the first person to have the pleasure of riding with him. We went to an office where I had a great relationship with this physician and actually sat by him and his family at church on Sundays. Instead of standing up to him I was weak and went with the "program" and we both got kicked out of the office. He gave me a "high-five" and told me we would get all of his business. To make a long story short, I never got another RX out of the physician, he never spoke to me again and then just recently died of cancer. I will never forget that moment and that is what eventually drove me away from Schering. I will never do something in the field again that I do not think is professional and jeaprodizes my integrity and relationships. Sometimes you learn the hard way.

Nichols is an idiot. You are better off now. People like him have ruined this industry in many ways.

It seems Mr. Myers had integrity, see the Novo Nordisk Board about him. Launch wrongful termination suit.

I found this awesome paragraph on the novo board. I hope this guy wins. Unethical and illegal practices are the root of why pharma/lab businesses fail. Can't trust them.
"Until the day comes, hold them accountable for their incompetence by sueing the living shit out of them. Unless your as much of a coward as they think you are. Thats what they and all other large companies do, they use their size to bully all challengers. Thats how business is done. Don't whine about it. Just take the fight to them. And to those pussy's who think this guy is sue happy or that that is what society has come to. Fuck you. Your a wimp and are afraid to lead, that why hide in the herd and lash out at those that you have no isea of their circumstances. Fuck you, you worthless cowards."
